Long story short, I owe a certain guy... let's call him 'Jesus' for now, a lot of money. Great for damaged door frame.
My door frame got damaged when a bear broke into my house to steal food out of my fridge (yes I live in the woods) with a regular door plate I would have had to replace the entire door frame as the spot with broken. This one because it is very long work with the broken door frame. It saved me a lot of time and effort

Great way to add strength to a flimsy latch set. Installation can be really easy (if there is a large enough gap to just screw it in place) or a bit challenging (if you need to chisel down the frame a bit).

Thin, extremely thin and flexible chinesium “steel”. If you are serious about reinforcing your door frame, this is the $1 shop option.

Easy fix.
My wood was cracking and unless I replace the wood this would be the cheapest fix I can find. Works great with 6 screw to secure latch strike. Feels very sturdy.
