Good tape
Good tape. Helps with my shoulder pain when I’m playing pickleball. Easy to apply but sticks really well, making it difficult to remove. Otherwise great product.

Adhesion could be better but good enouugh
Pros: - Super convenient for my purposes that it is pre-cut in this size. Cons: - Not the best adhesiveness out there (e.g. edges peel when shifting around in bed) but it’s good enough and applying on a clean surface helps. I’d say the stick lasts 2 days at most even through a shower but at that point it loses a lot of elasticity so I doubt it would help with supporting your injury? Removal technique: I saw a lot of concerning reviews about people’s skin ripping off.. to avoid that, I highly highly recommend shaving whatever area you’re applying to beforehand so it doesn’t tug on your hair/skin, removing it in the shower after soaking, and to NEVER peel it off like a bandaid—instead, peel a little bit off the edge, roll it up, and press your palm against your skin, and slide it toward the rest of the tape kind of like you’re rolling up a carpet. Maintaining contact between your palm and arm/leg/whatever skin during removal will help a lot in decreasing the tugging/pain. Good luck!!

Tape Residue
Care Science has a tremendous value-price product. I feel that the product works really well, but the adhesive works a little too well at times. I found it difficult and, at times, painful to remove. I have pulled skin small piece of skin off. I have not experienced that before using the name brand. Please read @Things & Stuff comments regarding the residue. The residue issue becomes problematic when I use this product on my wrist and knees. After removing the tape, my wrist would stick to items on my desk (mouse pad, small receipts, ...). Also, when I wear it on my knees, I have experienced residue from the tape sticking to my paints. This continues until I get some alcohol and rub it out. Soap and water do not do the job as well as alcohol. The bottom line for me and why I continuously buy this tape is the value. I travel a lot. I have enough of it to stick in my office desk, car, laptop bag, luggage, etc., any place that I can get my hands on it when I need it. I can only afford this type of coverage using this product. If I were to go with the name brand, I would over-invested.

My personal favorite brand of K tape
This is my personal favorite brand of K tape. As someone who deals with recurring back and joint pain, I’ve tried several brands, and this one stands out for how well it actually holds up. The biggest difference is water resistance. Most other KT tape brands I’ve tried start peeling almost immediately once they get wet, but this one holds strong through multiple showers. I typically get 3-4 days of wear out of a single application without it lifting at the edges. The adhesive itself is noticeably stronger too, so it stays put even with regular movement throughout the day, and it still provides real relief for my back and joint pain during that time. That combination of durability and actual pain relief is exactly why I keep repurchasing it instead of switching brands.

EXCELLENT KINESIOLOGY TAPE.
EXCELLENT KINESIOLOGY TAPE. Works well. I purchased for my husband because he bowls 2-3 times a week & throws hard. He is an excellent bowler. LESS discomfort using this tape. AND IT ADHERES WELL.

Needs improvement
After having used this tape, several times, I am able to write a knowledgeable review and can tell you that I will not be buying it anymore and will go back to KT tape. I thought that I would try and save a little bit of money and as usual regretted it. The tape looks and feels just like KT tape until you have it on. The flexibility is good and the adhesion is good, but not on the tape itself as it tends to come off at the end, where you have finished your taping. And yes, I rounded the edges first. Now for the adhesion on your skin itself, it is very much like using athletic tape on your skin and feels the same when you remove it. I, thankfully I don’t have any hair in the area that I was using the tape, but would highly recommend people shave before they use this tape on a area with hair. After removing the tape, there is also a healthy amount of adhesive residue left that you have to remove as well. So, in a nutshell, it doesn’t stick well to itself, it sticks way too much to your skin and you may as well pay a little bit more for the brand name.

Excellent for DeQuervain's, ECU/FCU discomfort, TFCC discomfort, CMC osteoarthritis relief
I'm an occupational therapist who works with a variety of upper extremity orthopedic diagnoses (pre-surgical, post-surgical) daily. There are a variety of k-tape brands that exist, but I find care science to be one of the best possible options for clients to use when they need to apply tape easily and without therapist assistance. The primary reason it is good to use is that the strips are pre-cut. This tape is useful for those diagnosed with DeQuervain's Tenosynovitis, also known as "newborn-itis", as those parents with a newborn baby tend to experience pain in the base of the thumb due to constantly lifting their child out of a crib. This product is also helpful with thumb/CMC (1st metacarpal) joint osteoarthritis, extensor carpi ulnaris, or flexor carpi ulnaris tendonitis, and/or triangular fibrocartilage complex sprain (unless a tear is evident). However, proper medical examination is required from a trained professional to ensure this is the right product for you. Style: The tape is sleek looking in either tan or black color. It is low profile and to the naked eye, people would likely not notice that you are even wearing it. Comfort: When applied properly, this product is extremely comfortable. K-tape has the unique property in which it can stretch to provide proper joint and muscle support. It is incredibly important to test maximum stretch (call it 100% stretch), this should be regarded as the no-go zone. When applying to yourself, stretch should only be 30-50% maximum because the tape can cause sheering or irritation on the skin if it is applied with too much stretch. Hygiene: You can wear this product while washing hands and bathing. This tape can usually withstand 1-3 days of wearing before needing to be thrown out. When removing, you can soak the hand / arm in water to loosen the fabric and avoid pulling arm hair and causing skin pain. Video demonstration: This is a quick taping method of how to apply for DeQuervain's tenosynovitis "newborn-itis". In this video, I don't remove the adhesive backing, please be advised that you do need to remove the back piece in order to apply the tape which will adhere to your arm. **Disclaimer: My review should not be taken as medical advice, especially if there is no diagnosis given. You should always seek proper evaluation from a primary care physician, orthopedic physician, neurologist, or physiatrist before applying tape without a true known cause. Purchase and application of this product is at your own risk.
