I bought this to keep time while I am brushing my teeth. It's very close to 2 minutes and the visual of this toy keeps your mind busy and my teeth brushing goes very quickly. I love this item. Well made.

We purchased this for my two and a half year olds timeouts. I try to make time out as calm and easy as possible. It's not to shame her but give her a chance to calm down. I tell her to go to timeout and she might be upset but as soon as I say flip your timer over, she relaxes. She has actually even thanked me for it. She loves watching the bubbles move. It calms her down. After the timer is finished, she is relaxed, then we can move forward and talk about the behavior that got her in time out in the first place. I highly recommend this for someone wanting to try a gentle parenting approach. Our timer is about 2 minutes but I haven't been too particular about the exact timing. It's more about facilitating a calmer atmosphere and helping them understand that their behavior needed to stop and to be able to move on.

I love these. I ordered a couple and these were the largest. I gave one to my son and gifted the other to his cousin and they both love them. My main reason for looking when searching was we found out his cousin has autism and this was a toy that came up for autism toys that are loved. I myself find this soothing. I wish it lasted longer. And I wish the base was more stable as it like to tip if you try and set it down too quickly. It hasn't leaked and I hope it never does.

My son loves this toy. We use this as a visual timer for brushing his teeth. It is well made and entertaining for kids to watch. We got exactly what I was hoping for.

My grandkids actually spend the entire time and then some brushing their teeth the entire time it takes for the colored material to float to the bottom. It actually takes two minutes. They trade colors and brush their teeth again. Sometimes they just like to see the colored liquid flow from one side to the other. Great attention keeper.

I love these timers! It gives my kids something to pay attention to when they are brushing their teeth and keeps them brushing longer. They are a great size and work well.

These are pretty cool, but are not accurate for 2 minute timers at all. Also, some of them have faulty liquid that pours down continuously without bubbling. Just fun to look.
