The perfect size for large things

I have bought these through the years and think they are the best. The key to protecting the lid flaps from breaking is to make sure you seat the lid properly before closing the flaps. I suspect people are trying to force a lid when it is not seated properly in the first place. Yes, after 5 years or so with opening lids that are frozen closed, they will slowly start to crack in the lid folds, but in my opinion there is nothing better out there. It's the only container that will keep my hard boiled eggs from smelling and keep my foods totally sealed. I am going to buy some more now because not only are they the best sealing, but they can go through the upper rack in the dishwasher for many many years. I love these containers. To the manufacturer: please keep making them!

I purchased this specifically to use with Costco Rotisserie chicken. Costco recently switched the chicken's packaging from the nice plastic disposable trays and cover to a plastic bag. Although i understand why, the bags are a pain in the you know where... This glass container is essentially a comparable size to the original Costco plastic tray and cover. It fits in the area in my fridge where I would typically place the Costco tray and cover. The fit has to be similar to optimally use a shelf in my fridge. The glass container will sit right next to Costco's 24 pack of eggs. This glass container and lid seems durable enough. Time will tell if the plastic lid will hold up. The glass is thick so the container is heavy. It is not like a fully plastic container in terms of weight if that matters to you. My preference would be to find a fully plastic container that has a tray and cover similar to the original Costco packaging. But I have not seen one yet. I found a disposable version, but not a quality reusable version yet. I recently tested the internal size by finding the biggest Rotisserie chicken at Costco and it did fit. You may need to press down on the lid, but it will get in there. An extra 1/2 to 1 inch in height would be perfect. Hopefully this helps some of you make the Costco Rotisserie chicken packaging transitioning. I do like that Costco is trying to do the right thing.

The glass material feel high-quality, durable, and has not absorbed any odors. easy to clean. The locking lid is a fantastic feature, ensuring a secure, leak-proof seal. Great for taking meals to work. Dishwasher safe, just put lid in top rack. Also, do not microwave the lid.

Would have given this 5 stars but the snap closure on the lid on one side came loose or the other side was very difficult to open but it does work well and the capacity it large enough to hold a lot of fresh lettuce or vegetables.

I have wanted a replacement for the Costco chicken clamshell that they replaced with those horrible bags. Just received this 3300ML size container, and it is PERFECT for a Costco chicken. I didn't want it to take up too much extra space in the fridge, so I may have to push the chicken down a tad, but it looks like the perfect size! And sturdy, and the quality looks great.

I purchased a like new item as I try to give new life to things. Upon opening I noticed the one flap of the lid was cracked halfway at its attachment point. I chalked it up to an oversight and ordered a new product this time. Sadly upon its arrival, there was a crack in the lid near the flap. At this point, I presume the dimensions and tooling for this item are not actually accurate and the pressure to lock the lid falls short of its specifications. I wanted to love this product, but with two broken lids, I have to assume it's a manufactung info. I hope others who purchased it enjoy it. The size was great for what I needed/wanted, but I needed the lid to work and is part of why I purchased it. For that fact that two were broken at the flexion / tension point of a lid that's supposed to be leak proof, I cannot suggest it's sturdy or leak proof, though I didn't try it. I just returned the defective product.

The glass seems fine enough, but one of the clamps on the lid cracked the first time I used it, which means it may soon break off. Considering how expensive this thing was, I am disappointed.
