Going to be buying another!
After about a year and a half of heavy every day use, along with the occasional dropping of it, it has served me well. I’m writing this as unfortunately it has left this earth as of today. This flashlight is great for illuminating darker areas. I detail vehicles in a dimmer garage and this has come in handy so many times. It’s perfect mainly because it’s so small and I can position it perfectly in tight crevices. Like I’ve said I have dropped it more than a few times over the years but this flashlight is seriously durable. The only downside is later in its life it had died really fast, however toward the beginning you really didn’t have to charge it for too long and it would last me the whole day! Thankfully there is a battery in that back that could be replaced, but unfortunately that’s not what caused mine to eternally die. I highly recommend this flashlight mainly because it’s easy to use, small but powerful, and durable. 5 stars from me

Good for the price
Pretty good penlight. Pros: Good quality shell. The zoom is why I bought it because I needed a light that could both illuminate a small spot for inspecting detail, but also could be used to shine light on a larger area. Brightness is good for my needs and water resistance is a plus. I'm not likely to test that, but the gaskets seem to fit tightly. Only ones I can't see are the ones around the end that extends to zoom the lense. Battery life is good for the size, not sure how long it will last, but good for now. And it's removable and you can still use standard batteries, so that's a huge bonus for device life. Non replaceable rechargeable batteries are a huge problem with devices these days. Cons: Generally not a fan of the multiple modes based on pressing a single button multiple times, and I've never had a use for a strobe mode. I could do without that. But that's most flashlights. The only real complaint is the gaskets that protect the battery compartment and the charging port are a bit fragile. The first one I received had a broken one that had been pinched when the end cap over the battery compartment was screwed in. I'm guessing it was a return rather than a defect. That's a common problem with Amazon these days is they take returns and resend them to other people. At least I learned from someone else's mistake before I damaged one. Just have to make sure the gaskets are totally in their grooves and screw the cap on carefully. But that shouldn't happen too often if you're going to keep the rechargeable battery in it primarily. The charging port has a slightly different design, so it's much less likely that the gaskets will move and get pinched. Just have to be sure they don't get moved during charging.

Worth the money.
This is a decent pen light, feels solid and is not to big and not to small where by you could easily lose it. A tight clip for a secure hold. The 2 ways of using power is a plus, either rechage or even use regular batteries. Nice bright wide beam and very good tight point setting.

Well-built, well featured, good-performing budget light.
Updated 12/16/21 - Still pleased overall. I have put a beating on this light and it still works great. The included battery is dying after less than 20 charge cycles. I used to get a week or so of mixed use out of a charge. Now I'm down to a day or two. Impressed for the money. Thus light bears an identical, as far as I can tell, chassis to a similar light from a name brand that rhymes with NEMO. May be a downbranded version? Anyway, fit and finish are good and it has a nice solid, if not rugged, heft to it. Both the focus adjustment barrel and the cover for the charging port are have good resistance but turn smoothly, indicating a good precision fit. The charging cover and switch/battery plate are both double-gasketed, which is reassuring since the unit is rated IP67. The pus hbutton has a good tactile feel, again similar to it's brand-name doppelganger. It has soft touch activation and cycling, which I don't recall was mentioned in the product description, and is a nice feature to have. The bulb is very bright for an inspection light. It appears to use a square LED, which isn't obvious at wide zoom but after about 2x it squares off and by 4x is a sharp square with notched corners. Not a big deal but that's probably how they get the higher output vs the other name brands which use a round LED. I have usually found square LEDs in cheaper lights so perhaps this is where the reasonable price some into play. It doesn't bother me that the light is square when focused, just mentioning it. As long as it lasts I don't really care. The barrel at the bulb end does get warm after the light is on the high setting for a while. Not uncomfortably so or anything, just notably warm. Not surprising, given the output. Battery life seems good. I use it to make multiple inspection rounds on ships for 12+ hours a day. It went a couple of days without running out but I charged it anyway. Charging seemed quick and easy enough. I appreciate that I can put AAA batteries in it in a pinch. The slip is sturdy and holds well to my pants or coveralls pocket. I wish it was an S-clamp so I could clip it to my hat or something but that's an uncommon feature on lights like this and a total wishlist/nitpick item. Overall initial impression is 100% positive. As long as it can take a beating and keep performing as well as the brand-name units I've used in the past I'll be very pleased and will likely pick up another.

Great little light to keep in your car, pocket, purse, whatever.
Small bright light that is easy to store just about anywhere, puts out more light than those junk lights you buy at stores that you'll end up throwing away. And best of all, it's rechargeable.

Super bright and well built.
Dynamite’lil flash light. Took me a couple days to figure it out and find a charge cord; poor organization on my part. It’s a great flashlight, I recommend it. Not sure how the battery lasts, time will tell.

It Could've Been Great
This is a pen light that has the potential be something good, but just has too many issues to be of good use. When I first got the pen, I was enamored by the brightness, the charging capabilities, and the portability of this pen light. Unfortunately, after using it a bit more, it started becoming more of pain as I became accustomed to the pen light. First of all, why start with the brightest mode when turning on the pen light? When I initially tried to to change the brightness, I found that the pen has an annoying flickering mode. I first thought, "ok, I can just avoid changing to this mode", but the pen light's button can be a bit too sensitive and switch modes without even intending to (you just need to do a light tap to switch modes). What makes it worse is that if you turn it off, rather than just turning on with the static unchanging light the next time you want to use it, it ends up saving the last pen mode used so you might end up turning it on with the flickering mode. This is really inconvenient when you're using this in the medical setting like I am, so you might end up flashing a strobe light in your patient's face by accident. The durability is also pretty poor. I used the pen for less than a month, maybe once or twice every other day, and the cheap plastic button peeled off, so you have to press really hard to even turn it on. I also wasn't a fan of the design. It's a bit too bulky for my taste, but this is a minor inconvenience compared to all its other failings. This pen is just a big fail overall. Would not recommend for long-term use due to it being more of a nuisance than of any help. I currently keep it as a backup, but I would never use it again if I had a choice. This pen had the potential to be something really useful, but it's more of a pain in the ass than anything.

Overall, the best pen flashlight I've ever carried (been carrying daily for 6 months!)
I work part-time as a handyman while in College and boy oh boy do I use pen flashlights tons. I started using this cheap one from Walmart a good few years back and after a year or two of using that, I went on a quest to find the best one I can get online for a reasonable price. I bought about 5 different models that all looked really promising. Let me just say that this light was absolutely my favorite by a long-shot. It's just so perfect, I mean, - It's rechargeable, so you don't have to worry about carrying extra batteries on you when you think the battery's low (like I grew a habit of doing with other penlights), you can just recharge it (also saves you some cash in the long run). to recharge it, just unscrew the light right under the threaded cylinder that adjusts zoom and it'll reveal the port. - THIS THING IS POWERFUL, by far the strongest penlight I've ever used. It's advertised as outputting 300LM and I don't doubt that for a second, Love it. - IT CAN ZOOM, something that was pretty darn hard to find on the water-resistant penlights and it actually zooms really far. - Battery life is pretty darn good given the sheer power of this light, will last a good few hours of non-stop usage - This thing is MAD sturdy, like I can probably use it to smash concrete sturdy (though I've never tried) - It's IP67, I've literally used this thing underwater and it works surprisingly well. Though, I wouldn't trust it going too deep, for that, just get a dive light, they're not that expensive. Addressing the heat issue: A lot of other reviewers said it gets really hot, I honestly disagree. I mean, yeah, the beam of light, if pointed close to the skin for too long can give you a superficial, but still painful burn, but that's to be expected for such a bright beam of light. And yeah, the flashlight itself gets pretty warm but this level of warmth is nothing dangerous. I mean you gotta note that this thing's running a pretty powerful LED that outputs quite a bit of heat due to the power consumption, and It's really difficult to dissipate that heat evenly into the metal frame given how little there is of it and since it's more lengthy than beefy (it's only actively cooled). For such a powerful and thin penlight, I don't know why this surprises people.

Buy one, maybe two. Hope theres warranty.
So im giving this five stars because for me the lights been very good. Charges well and in decent amount of time. Last quite a long time. No real issues, maybe the seals were a bit tight at the start and had to move them into position. My co-worker bought the same light at the same time and his lasted two months before the head started falling off and now it just falls off randomly when he points it downward. Soo go for it but watch out i guess?
