What is the weight of cast iron rooster towel holder?. Don’t want one that will tip easily

It’s got a good heft to it. Only problem I had with it was that the screw in the top of the column that held the rooster in place would loosen easily. It tightens back in with a hex wrench. A drop of adhesive and a good tightening will fix it.

To slide in the paper towel roll, do you have to unscrew the rooster on the top or is the rooster small enough for the paper towetube to go around it?

You have to unscrew the Rooster top to slide in a roll of paper towels and / or remove the empty paper tube.

Can I get the rooster only replaced. It broke?
