Boys and girls ages 4-6 will scare themselves silly with this Step 2 featuring the adventures of Sulley and his one-eyed friend Mike from the computer-animated Disney/Pixar blockbuster Monsters , Inc. Review: good Monsters Inc reader, does not follow movie storyline - This is a good Monsters Inc. book. The words and sentences seem appropriate for a level 2 reader. The storyline in this book does not match the movie. It starts out the same but has an alternate ending. My five year old doesn't seem to mind and likes reading it. Review: Cute! - Super cute book!

Page turner
It is a white knuckle thrill ride through Monster Land. A non stop page turner taking you deep into the seedy underbelly of what really happens behind our closet doors. Mike and Sulley are forced to make decisions impacting their lives and those that depend on them. Seeing them come to grips with the impact following those decisions is gripping and gut wrenching. A literal masterpiece.

My preschooler loves it!
My son is crazy about anything to do with Monsters, Inc, or Monsters University, and this book was no exception. We ordered it after he read "Scaring Lessons". The artwork is less photorealistic than the other Monsters books (the cover art is an accurate representation of the art inside), but the story is charming. It deviates from the storyline of the movie, but doesn't contradict it; it could easily have been the story of a deleted scene.

Super cute story and illustrations but it does not stick to the original storyline. Obviously my three year old son doesn't know, but it bothered me! :P

My 4 year old loves this book and is trying to follow the words written on each page. It is simple enough for her to follow easily so she is proud of herself that she can do it and wants to learn more. The fact that sets of words are repeated makes it a great book for kids who are just starting to learn to read.

Great for fans of Monsters Inc
A friendly and practical reading book based on Monsters Inc. Being a story she knows, it makes it far easier to follow for my daughter and from a practical perspective she can read the unusual names like Sully. Overall I feel this is pitched perfectly as a level two book
