Perfect for custom decals!
Made a set of custom decals for my kids projects. Found ourselves making and adding decals to all kinds of stuff. Model cars, hockey sticks, anything with a nice smooth surface. Easy to print and transfer. NOTE: the paper is very sturdy and sharp! It will cut you if you’re not careful while loading your printer. I had a paper jamb, wasn’t the papers fault, I had my output tray blocked, and while pulling on the paper, I sliced myself pretty good. It’s heavy duty, transfers well, and prints nice! Would buy again m.

Will not work in your kiln
I’ll give 5 stars because I’m sure the product would work for other materials. However, it does not work for a cone 04 kiln firing. They disintegrate into iron-y dust. I bought this brand because a fellow potter said he got them to work. We’ve tried everything and we just can’t. Hope to find a purpose for them or find them away.

Best around.
Pest slides out there. I will keep ordering.

Not for ceramic firing. No dishwasher/oven safe.
It wasn’t for ceramic firing. I might have missed somewhere but hoped it was clear in the website. I have printed out one sheet and instruction says “cure at 110C for 15 mins”. Also not dishwasher or oven safe. The printing was a bit hard as it was thick and slippery (?) so my Brother laser printer didn’t pick up for printing. I had to try 10 times over and got one printed. I also had to cut to fit my laser printer tray (letter size) as this decal paper is A4. This can happen to other decal paper brand. Though this product cannot be used for my original purpose but I still will find out other purposes.

Worked like a charm!
So I had a vintage hoosier step stool that I was refinishing. The original label was fragile and would be obliterated by the restoration and I could not find the same replacement label on any restoration sites. I was able to use a high res photo of the label and then blow out the background to replicate it using a laser printer and this product. The refinished stool now has a label identical to the original! Very satisfying to finish the project with that label restored.

I don't understand how companies get away scamming people like this...
This is so bad. I mean, literally everything that could be wrong with this is wrong. 1) Not really an issue, but the paper is oddly shaped, so you have to trim it if you wanted it to fit in your printer. 2) random blotches of no ink all over. My printer is a laser jet, yet it looks awful once printed out 3) ink just slides off. When you try to cut the picture, random spots of ink on the paper just slide off like magic 4) does not even float in the water. Once put in water, it instantly sinks to the bottom and your decal is ruined. 5) Hard to get decal off base. when you try to pull the decal off, it usually tears or wrinkles due to the fact that it will not really slide off. 6) adhesion is awful. When I finally got the decal off, it was as dry as paper, even after it "dried" you could easily take it off. I wish I could say something about how it actually turned out, but I can't, since it is actually impossible to get there. And I know what I am talking about as well. I have been using waterslide decals for a while, so I know if a brand sucks or not. It absolutely dumbfounds me how this company even got the right to sell on Amazon...

Better on flat or even surfaces
Used a laser printer. It does better on lighter backgrounds. Also, if the product you’re applying it to has even the slightest rounded surface it will crinkle. See picture. Video has a flat but curved surface with a lighter background and the decal was great. Haven’t added the last layer of resin yet. But I assume it will pop even more. Tips: if possible…submerge your substrate under water (or under running water) with the decal while positioning. It will help to prevent tears. Once you position use a damp cloth to “squeege” the water from under decal. Eventually transition to a dry cloth.

Absolutely best!
This is the greatest waterslide paper I've ever used. The prints on it look crystal clear and simply amazing. It's quite durable, the glue is strong and it's very easy to apply. It can be sprayed with acrylic or synthetic resin clear coat to protect it from moisture and scratches and the paints don't dissolve the foil and it looks just great.
