ROG delivered again with newly patched BIOS for Ryzen Zen 3 CPU ready out of the box.
This is an amazing motherboard with debug LEDs individually color coded for easy see through the case without needing to remove panel or parts to see which LED is which, superb CPU overclocking capabilities with active cooling VRM. Onboard SupremeFX sound cards with individual color coded LEDs helps differentiate even in the dark room. Tons of USB 3.2 available along with a USB type-C for further extend the compatibility with a dongle for other accessories. IO shield is padded with a thick yet very comfortable piece of soft material. They even factory updated the BIOS for compatibility with Ryzen 3rd gen CPUs ready out of the box. The metal backplate for maximum cooling. 2 M.2 next gen storages to further push the limit of HDD and SATA Solid state drives while yielding the space needed for small form factor cases, which this ITX board is intended to be built in. All and all the board feels very premium. Support up to PCIE 4.0, Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, ROG GameFirst technology keeps you ahead of competitors. Their prices in general is slightly higher than other B550 and X570 boards out there in the market but are backed by their second to none materials and functions. All the plugs are clearly labeled and detailed motherboard map layout in the Instructions Manual which is well illustrated using images and clear legends which allows even a very novice to build his own PC. Asus ITX boards are very well featured and standing out especially comparing to their bigger brothers of the ROG motherboards family. It wouldnโt be exaggerating to state that ROG ITX motherboards are โPremium quality comes in small packages.โ They didnโt just trim the board down and take out important features. When it comes to performance, ROG lines never cutting any corner. They promised performance and that is exactly what you can expect them to deliver.

Really Nice Motherboard
Great board for a mini-itx build. The board is compact and comes with lots of features! I do have some advice for anyone building I system with this board though... 1. Don't go online to search for a battery location if you need to reset this board. The place where sources online tell you to go or wrong! Is board does not have a removable battery and must be reset using the metal pins. 2. Connect the audio wire fairly early in your build. If you don't you will find yourself having to completely take the bill to part to get to the wire. Several things need to be removed to reach where the audio wire goes. 3. use The cooler Master RGB app if you want to control the ring on the AMD ryzen cooler. Only secure the 4pin RGB wire if you plan to use Asus aura app- but, beware this does not control all of the lighting like it should. If I had known these things prior to my build it it would have taken me only 25 minutes... But, I spent days searching for war of the audio wire went and I was trying to keep those tiny screws from falling while doing the audio wires late. Lastly, I'm having a problem with USBs in this build. My wireless keyboard and mouse normally works just fine... But, once I add anything to the USB port (readers, controller... Anything!) I get freezing. this happens even while in by us so I know it's not the windows software or drivers. All drivers are updated and I have tried several ports. Asuss has agreed for me to send the board in but I'm still troubleshooting it myself so that I don't have to take this thing up part for the fourth time!

mITX board with bells and whistles
This is a great mITX (mini) motherboard. Note, this is a small form factor PC motherboard. You need an appropriate case for this, though most will fit. This is a great board with everything you need for an SFF system. It does have 2 M.2 slots, so you could go without any standard hard drives. A couple samsung, crucial, or western digital NVME if you want bleeding edge. They really don't make much difference if your goal is gaming, and it just depends on the room in the case you get. I'd still recommend a mechanical backup, even if it's an external. The board also has a cooler fan for the VRM and good heatsinks. You have to disassemble the little cover plates over the VRM to get to the audio plug-in (couple tiny screws). Also, the top-side M.2 slot is covered by a plate - which has heat tape on the underside. The instruction manual explains where to look. The second M.2 slot is on the back of the motherboard. The BIOS is really easy to navigate. First hit F7 for advanced mode. If you go the NVME (M.2) drive route, be sure to enter the BIOS and turn on Compatibility Support Mode under the Boot menu. Also, if you have high clock speed memory, you need to go to the AI Tweaker menu and turn on AI Overclock Tuner to D.O.C.P. You'll get a warning message - just click OK or Yes. The manual can be found on the ASUS web site: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-Strix-X570-I-Gaming/HelpDesk_Manual/ Final system build: Case: Silverstone SST-SG13B (sg13 v2) - great SFF case - note it does not include any fans Power: EVGA supernova 550 GM - tiny, modular, 550w power supply, includes adapter plate that worked with my case Video: MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 2080 Super - fits inside case with a little room to spare for cable management CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X CPU Fan: Noctua NH-L9a-AM4, very low profile - fits nicely, includes low-noise adapter cable Case Fan: Noctua 120 mm NF-R12 redux - got it on sale - fits nicely in the front of the Silverstone case - very quiet Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB, CL16, got 2 8GB sticks Lots of little zip ties =)

Amazing performance
For my new gaming build it let me overclock my 3900X to 4.3 with no issues at all. The VRM is rock solid and power delivery is super stable for overclocking. Be aware that there is no built in wifi driver, you need to install windows before you can connect. Use an Ethernet cable direct to your router if you need to connect to anything before installing Windows. Only issue - the audio header is buried under a VRM heat-sink and nowhere in the manual does it say you have to use the adapter cable! I tried to fit the one from my case directly and bent the pins a little before googling it and discovering you need the 3-inch adapter cable - which is included but not labeled. But once I straitened the pins it all came together and it's an amazing tiny mother board that performs way out of its league and drives my RTX 2080 TI just fine. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Quality ITX mobo for AMD CPU
Bought this for my Ryzen 5900 build in an NR200P case. I was very worried at first because I read some reviews about the old BIOS not supporting Zen 3 AMD. And this particular motherboard does not seem to have support for updating BIOS with USB. Nonetheless, when I received my item (02/2022), I could see that the mobo was manufactured in late 2021, and has the latest BIOS already. So I have not experienced any compatibility issue with the my AMD 5900X. I think ASUS ROG in general is high quality, and I am glad that this motherboard has proved to be no exception. The back I/O has USB 3.1 Type C and 3.2 Type A. There is only one Type C port mind you. What really made me give a five-star review was the software support for the motherboard. You can adjust the RGB lighting on the motherboard (and update drivers) using the Armoury Crate software. This saves you from having to get all the individual drivers from all different sources. Additionally, you can use the AI Suite 3 to customize all your fans RPM under different temperature settings. This motherboard has limited fan headers, and I am not a huge fan for running 3-4 fans off of a single fan header. So I used the AIO_PUMP header for my bottom fans (12mm high from NOCTUA). The thing is that AIO_PUMP fans by default will always run at max speed so they will be really audible if you don't adjust them. So, I am beyond glad that I have been able to use the AI Suite 3 to adjust my fans that are using the AIO_PUMP. It may take some tweaking before you find the sweet spot for performance and noise level, but having an easy-to-use software for controlling all the fans is so important for power users.

Done With ASUS!
I have been building PC with Asus MB for over a decade. Its been my go to board for quality and reliability. I have an AMD build with an Asus MB that has been running for over 10 years without issue. Something has changed with Asus. Last year I did an Intel build and after returning two Asus MB for different but serious issues I gave up and ordered one from a different OEM. Two months ago I tried another Asus MB on a AMD build, the X570-I. Once again unstable. System locks up while navigating the BIOS menus, No boot, Windows shutting down in the blink of an eye... So I decided to update the BIOS as it was behind. BIOS seemed to successfully install and rebooted. Now no boot, just a solid amber LED. $300 lesson learned. I am done with Asus. Update 21/0/28 Returned MB to Asus for repair as it was bricked and also destroyed the CPU after BIOS update. I returned this board in its original packaging which included anti stat bag and packaging to secure the board in the box. I received the board back from Asus in a anti stat bag and plain cardboard box! No original box or packaging.... The board was just bouncing around in an empty box.. I haven't tested this yet as I bought a Gigabyte board which by the way updated its BIOS without destroying a $500 CPU! This was a very expensive lesson!!! Update 120321 Used all the parts from this build for another PC with Gigabyte board and had no issues. Used the board from ASUS with all new components to try another build with this Asus X570i.... Same thing, red cpu light, everything is new. Everything works in another setup.... I think the board returned from Asus killed another $500 CPU. Done Done Done....

Amazing motherboard for the price
Amazing motherboard! Works great out of the box with no issues after booting up the PC. Issues: Installing this motherboard is a little tricky compared to other ITX motherboards however. Plugging in the front panel connector extension should be done when installing the M.2 SSD. The audio connector is buried under the rear i/o sheild and you need to remove the M.2 sheild to get under the i/o cover. Another issuue I ran into was installing the Wraith Prism Cooler that comes with Ryzen 7 CPUs. The space between the cooler and the M.2 sheild is very tight so pushing the retention clip all the way down is a pain. I/o : Plenty of connection options on this motherboard. Multiple USB 3 and a single type C on the rear i/o. Internal USB 3 connector for front panel USB 3. Tragically, there is no internal USB C header if your case has a front panel USB type C connector. That's all I really have to say about this motherboard. I have had it for about 4 months now with 0 issues. Paired the motherboard with 32GB of DDR4 3200, a Ryzen 7 3700X, 500GB NVMe SSD, and a Radeon RX 5700 XT everything booted with no issues.

Love it so far
Went into ThermalTake V1 Cove ITX case. Current build is 3600X with 32GB ram and AMD 3600X run off 850W psu. Managed to squeeze 1080Ti card with water radiator in there as well. Was hoping to get 3950X, but may replace it when they get in stock. Works great. Pros: -premium board all around, a lot of options to customize -fits my case (unlike Aorus from Gigabyte) -has AM4 cooling mount (unlike wired choice from Asrock) -good VRM for ITX Cons: -Price - you get what you pay for. More expensive than the other ITX offerings , but worth imo -runs a little hot to my liking. But I hear that all x570 run hot. So time will tell how durable it is. Others -personally not huge fan of the RGB fashion trend. Not that this is a con Truth to be told this is not a single purpose PC. My goal was to build something that will feel comfortable playing recent games as well as have enough "horsepower" for Adobe to run smoothly. Also went for the ITX because I builded it in my entertainment center,

Buena Motherboard

Probably one of the best x570 itx board
Punches above its weight for an ITX but some of the sata ports are in an awkward position, the 2nd M2 slot SSD will get toasty

BOIS pre-installed ?
Is motherboard BIOS pre-installed ? Mentioning it will be nice thx

Like a tank!
This thing is built like a tank with fans and cooling fins coming out from everywhere. If you look real close, the quality of the board and the chips and how its soldered looks like the freakin DEATHSTAR!

Best am4 itx board
Amazing itx board jam-packed with all the features of ATX boards. The only thing missing is a USB C 3.2 gen 2 type connector for front-panel USB C on cases. I would take half a star off for the location of the HD audio connector and lack of pch fan control. The HD audio connector is in an odd location. The onboard fan that cools the chipset cannot be controlled unless a third party custom bios is installed.
