2 Chrome Mirror Covers (*** Stick on by 3M Tape, NOT for Replacement Click on) for Chevrolet Silverado 2007 08 09 2010 11 12 2013

Ok after reading several reviews about this product I decided to order them despite what some reviews said. As soon as I received them I opend the box and was impressed with the quality for the money . In the box with the mirror covers it came with one alcohol wipe and a small tube of adhesive promoter . Some reviews gave this product a bad reviews becuse they say that they fell of quite fast or as soon as they drove the vehicle. First of all these are stick on they came with high quality 3m tape already installed. Well if your like me I always keep my mirrors armor all'ed all the time so that one wipe was not going to do the job of removing all that armor all. So I decided to use some of my wife's nail polish remover and still after that I used some other alcohol wipes. After making sure I had them super clean and degreesed I went ahead and applied the adhesive promoter, let it dry for about 1/2 hr. and then installed the mirror covers. After I installed the mirror covers I secured them with blue painters tape to apply pressure to let the 3m tape firmly set . I left it like that for about a day in the hot Texas sun. Then I removed the tape (this is why i went with blue painters tape because it wont leave any sticky residue ). I even tugged on them a little bit and I can say that they are pretty firm at least I know mine wont fall off . It all has to do with how well you prep the surface maybe I went a little over kill but thats just me. Oh ya and if they pit over awhile well thats just going to happen like some people complain about i guess it just varies on the type of climate and maintenance on how long they will last , but for the price i would buy them again .

The description of this covers was not clear. These replace your existing top cover, not mount over them. You have to remove your factory covers in order to install this model. I almost returned them because I wasn't crazy about removing and possibly damaging my factory cover while still under warranty. Getting the factory covers off is kind of challenging and very specific. You need to use thin putty knives to work them off because they have several snap clips. There are a couple of youtube videos on how to do this that are a must watch if you buy a replacement cover. This made the install possible because you really can't tell how they're held on etc...In the end they look great and I'm happy I got them. Because they replaced the factory covers, they're identical in size, but now chrome, which is what I wanted.The ad should be much clearer about the installation of them, so you know what you're getting into...

They look good. Very close to the actually mirror pieces for a fraction of cost. These have double sided tape. You can see that they stick out just a little when you get close to them

good looking and sticking product. still on after a month and a couple of high pressure car washes. a little difficult to put on because once they snap on you cant readjust. if you try the original cover wants to come off. i would suggest taking the original cover off and then put it on the chrime one nit trying to do it on the truck

Went on easy and the look great. Only issue is that, on the inside part of the mirror, closest to the truck, the cover does not touch all the way down. There's a small yet visible gap.

Ok for some reason company's assume that because GM makes Chevy that all their parts are interchangable. This is not true. They very ever so slightly. I had bought a replacement side mirror from a Chevy truck and put it on my Sierra. Long story long one of these covers fit perfect while the other had gaping as well as conforming issues. Only buy these for a Chevy, don't believe the Gmc in 100% compatable

These are OEM type of covers. One problem is the top clip is ground off. I bought some two face tape to assure they would stay on. It seems to work since I brought my truck through an automatic car wash. They look great.

These came perfectly protected, beautiful finish. Was highly impressed. Think this company is gonna be great, will purchase again from them for sure. Came in 1.5 week, but came from Canada, Was well worth the wait plus it's winter, won't put them on till summer. If you want a good quality set, for sure these are them. Won't know about long how long they last, but with what I see, they will for sure.
