Got these to switch out the piece in my medela hand pump. Easy to pop in. And I like my hand pump so much more with these. I feel like they help with output.

I read all the reviews saying how these were better than the valves that came with the pump; the suction was better and helped you produce more milk. They weren't lying! I get a ton more milk! I use it with my Medela Pump in Style. The only drawback was I was having issues where my milk kept getting sucked into the tube :(. I noticed some other medela users were having the same problem, but then I spotted the cause. The milk doesn't release into the bottle all at once, it starts collecting in the neck of the pump. If you don't pay attention and the milk gets too high it can reach the level of the hole and fall into it where's it's sucked into the tube. I usually let it get a fast as in the picture I posted and then I pull the flange down to release the suction and let it drain, then place it back and repeat until done. That's my only complaint and it really only cuts out a few seconds at a time of my pumping session. But that's why I have it 4 stars, because you can't just let it pump while you focus on something else. Would definitely still recommend!

Love this item! It looks very similar to the spectra ones but has a little tab to pull the duckbills out. This is a gamechanger! I’ve already tried them and the suction is great! These are better than the original spectra and the maymom.

Every single valve had poor suction. You can test suction by adding a little water to the valve and seeing it’ll drip out. Water came pouring out of each one without any manipulation. Very disappointed.
