Bought to replace the 256GB drive, bought in conjunction with a Sintech M.2 NVMe 2230/2242 SSD Upgrade Card for MacBook PRO A1708. Easy to install both after watching YouTube tutorials, no problems so far and nearly 4 times the storage, nice and speedy too.

Used to replace a faulty NVME. Good speeds. Still working fine after three years. Good value.

It is physically bigger than the recommended Steam Deck SSD size (2230) but fits just fine despite that. Just swap the heat shield from the included SSD onto this one, secure it down with some double sided tape (optional- the metal plate above it secures it down for the most part) and you should be good to go provided you reinstall SteamOS.The speeds are excellent for an SSD this size which makes games load much faster and the interface much snappier and the capacity is more than enough to install any games I can feasibly play at once at any given time.Good to know:*Using this in the Steam Deck may cause faster battery drain, degraded network performance and overheating (I haven't had issues with any of this personally)*935GB is available for games after the SteamOS install

Please do not make the same mistake as me and believe other reviews that this card firs in a steam deck - it does not! The dimensions make it too long.1. The SSD will not lie flat as it is too big2. You cannot screw it in place as required3. It foil sleeve does not fit4. The large heatshield will not lie flat, you cannot get the last screw in5. Thermal pads on the heatshield are rendered ineffective6. The deck case will not close perfectly, there will be some movement.Can't stress this enough - good SSD, good price, BUT NOT FOR STEAM DECK!

There's not usually much for me to write about SSD's However, I wanted to let people know that this product fits inside a STEAM DECK easily.I had to tape mine down with some Electric Tape, but it's working very well and the SDD speeds seem to be really good too!IF you search 2242 SSD Steam Deck on Youtube, you should be able to find one of my videos where I have installed the SSD and got it working.

It is only 470 GB and not 512 GB.

I bought this to go in an ACEPC https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B089WCSPDZ/I've put details of the install in a review of that on the link above.The install was a breeze and it's a very fast drive, roughly 5x faster than the 120GB eMMC disk that's built into the ACEPC. Photo's attached including Crystal Diskmark speed test.This is a 2242 nVME PCIE disk, it's 42mm from the slot to the centre of the screw that holds it in place.

I certainly won't be buying from this seller again. A combination of bad service from them and bad service from Amazon. When I encountered an issue with this item (which I managed to eventually resolve without the assistance of either of them) they each passed the buck to the other. The seller said Amazon had to resolve this, Amazon said it was down to the seller. Back and forth, back and forth I went. Utter waste of my time. By all means, take a chance, if your item is fine, you'll likely not have a problem. But if you do, and you need their assistance, good luck to you. Be prepared to be messed around.

Wysoka wydajność dysku,nie przegrzewa się nadmiernie.

Nunca antes había escuchado de Sabrent, es una marca estadounidense fabricada en Taiwan, una muy buena alternativa a las Samsung, Intel, etc. Velocidad de transferencia bastante bueno, el tamaño en general de la SSD es muy compacto (2252), y lo mejor que tiene bastante capacidad de almacenamiento.La instalé en una laptop hp zbook 14 g2, la cuál tiene puerto M.2 con soporte para NVMe pero no tiene controladores nativos para este protocolo en el UEFI por lo tanto tuve que investigar en internet para hacerlo funcionar. A fin de cuentas por los pasos adicionales que tuve que hacer mejor le regrese la SSD M.2 SATA que tenía previamente, ya la usaré para otro equipo.

Ok so I know you are NOT supposed to add this size drive to your steam deck BUT I extended the heat cover for drive and the metal plate holds this drive down as it barley misses the wifi antennas. After 2 weeks this drive is running amazing. I run test and no heat issues that are different than stock. I'm using 512 gb and saved 200$ going this route than buying Steams expensive model.Download Decky for more OLED coloring and grab you this drive the value is insane.

Lo compré e instalé en una Steam Deck para sustituir la memoria de 64gb y funciona a la perfeción.Si bien es cierto que la medida no es la correcta y no se puede atornillar, una vez colocada de nuevo la placa metálica que cubre los componentes se sujeta y funciona sin ningún problema (Hay varios vídeos en YouTube con el paso a paso usando ésta memoria).Estando a mitad de precio que las unidades 2230 de la misma capacidad, ni te lo pienses.El rendimiento es espectacular, y la capacidad te da de sobra para particionarlo e instalar Windows junto a SteamOs.

Diese SSD läuft bei mir in mehreren PCs zuverlässig. Praktisch ist auch die Clone-Software zur Datensicherung.
