Fits the GRIIIx brilliantly. Sturdy metal material, so feels better protected when out and about.

Good quality cap, which fits snugly. Only issue is that Amazon suggested that it should be paired with the "Haoge 49mm UV Filter Adapter Ring for RICOH GR IV gr4 ", which is really useful. However the lens cap doesn't fit onto the adaptor ring when the adaptor actually has a filter attached. It only fits with no filter, which somewhat negates the point of it. I guess the only use case is if you wanted to stop the lens cap falling off each time the camera was activated with it one!

I am very happy with the “lens cap”. Very good quality and very useful to have it as it is really protecting the lens. If I don’t know it is not coming with the camera in the box I would think this is included because it just fits well and looks like an official product. Spending £800 this is nothing to protect the little metal lid closing and protecting the lens on the camera when off. The only thing is not to forget remove before turning the camera on as it is blocking the lens to open (doesn’t damage it or anything)

The lens cap easily slides on and adds little in the way of bulk to the camera. It works fine with my Neewer UV filter. My GR111x came with a soft Ricoh pouch. The camera fits into the pouch with the lens cap on. The main thing is to ensure you take the cap off before switching your GR111 on!

Essential product to protect the Ricoh lens. Only issue is you can accidentally pull off the lens ring if you rotate the cap when removing.

Loads of reviews on this cap researched and by far the best to have for my Ricoh GRiiix. Solid metal cap with soft padding inside to protect. If you have a Ricoh soft case with magnetic closure it will fit once pushed but is so snug and hard to get out. Maybe over time it will have some give? Overall a bit pricey for what it is but is extra peace of mind to protect the lens and mech of such an expensive camera

Looks nice and the quality is solid. Easily mistaken for an original Ricoh accessory. Fits really snug around the lens ring. Just make sure to twist in the opposite direction when taking it off or the lens ring will come off with the cap.

JJC kenne ich bereits von anderen Zubehörprodukten, wie beispielsweise der sehr hochwertige Sonnenblende meiner X100 Kamera. Hier bespreche ich nun kurz den Objektivdeckel für die Ricoh GR3x, meiner zweite Kompaktkamera. Der Objektivverschluss der Ricoh GR kann ausreichend sein, mit den dünnen automatisch bewegten Lamellen, er muss es aber nicht. Für mich persönlich sind die Lamellen nicht ausreichend, insbesondere dann, wenn ich die Kamera in die Hosentasche stecke, oder in einer Tasche, wo andere Gegenstände gegen die Lamellen drücken können. Zu meiner X100 wurde ein Objektivdeckel mitgeliefert, sie hat allerdings auch keine zusätzlichen Lamellen, Ricoh liefert leider nichts mit. JJC hat mit dem Metall Objektivdeckel dieses Manko beseitigt und einen sehr hochwertigen Deckel konstruiert, der durch seine Innenauskleidung auch perfekt sitzt. Sowohl die Front, wie auch der umlaufende Ring, sind innen mit einem mittelharten Schaumgummi belegt. Der Deckel lässt sich damit recht leicht aufstecken, Druck bedarf es nicht, doch er steckt so fest, dass ich an ihm die Kamera anheben kann, dennoch lässt er sich leicht abnehmen. Aktuell rund 19€ sind allerhand Geld für einen Objektivdeckel, doch ich meine, wenn man ihn haben möchte, so wie ich, ist der Preis angemessen, man bekommt dafür wirklich Qualität. Vielleicht könnte man preisbewusst alternativ noch einen günstigen Kunststoffdeckel ohne Innenauskleidung anbieten, oder sich gar selbst einen in 3D ausdrucken. Manches wird in 2 Qualitätsstufen angeboten, warm nicht auch dieses sinnvolle Zubehör. Mir persönlich ist es wichtig, dass der schon hochwertige Gesamteindruck der Kamera nicht durch minderwertiges Zubehör beschädigt wird und da besteht bei diesem JJC Metall Deckel keinerlei Gefahr. Durch seine "GR" Prägung und ohne einen Hinweis auf seine Herkunft, wirkt er so, als wäre er in der Serienausstattung der Kamera, so soll das auch sein. Hinsichtlich der Aufbewahrung der Kamera in einer engen Tasche, stört der Deckel nicht wirklich, denn er trägt nur etwa 3mm auf, die Kamera mit wird ihm also rund 3mm tiefer, diese Reserve sollte jede Tasche abdecken. Im Fazit vergebe ich 5+ Sterne für den JJC Metall Objektivdeckel, er erfüllt und übertriff auch meine Erwartungen an der Produkt, er runde meine kleine Kamera perfekt ab und verdient einen top Bewertung, sowie eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.
