Needed to replace the speakers on my boat I always use name bran and figured I’d give these a try after reading some reviews listed by others and I must say I’m very impressed with the quality and the sound. Highly recommend.

I had a premium brand speaker fail and a replacement pair was more than four Skar 6.5's, so based on the reviews I took a flyer and replaced all of my speakers. With some amp tuning these turned out to be superb replacements, with rounded sound and superior mids and bass to the expensive speakers. Sound is loud, clear and crisp running at 50+mph, and very clean at really low volume while fishing. I did have one speaker fail after nine months and emailed Skar through Amazon's contact seller function. Not only did they answer in less than an hour, but two hours later I received a shipping confirmation on a replacement with zero friction. Outstanding speakers backed by genuinely great customer service. Buy 'em.

Built some speaker pods and mounted these things on my Crash bars these things sound great value wise I they sound great and do a good great job

Edit: We’ll I bought them again and again they did not disappoint. This time for the saddlebags on a streetglide. I had been so impressed with them on the boat when I needed a pair of 6.5’s for the bags there was no other way to go. Again they sound incredible. I can hear music clearly cruising at 90. Speakers are deep, clear and full. They’re being powered by a sound stream 1200d 4 channel micro amp and man do they bump. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on fosgates or wet sounds for this build and I don’t regret it one bit. Excellent speakers and they’re aesthetically pleasing as well. Skar does it again!!! Installed 4 of these to replace factory Landau pontoon speakers……. Entirely different boat now. Super impressed with Skar audio products as a whole so far. Secure packaging, great price point, and the most impressive being the sound. Super loud but most importantly clear when playing at high volumes. I haven’t ran into any distortion issues when playing at loud volumes. I powered them with an ancient Sony XM-460gtx 600w amp, rated at 60w rms x 4 channel @ 4 ohm. Speakers are so loud and clear I need to get a sub to get that full sound to match the quality of mids and highs coming out of the boat. Definitely would buy again.
