On Boxing Day I noticed a couple of rats in the back garden and ordered this straight away, picking it up on the 29th. Put the traps in the garden and checked them every day noticing that the bait had been nibbled. It seems to have worked as I haven't seen any rats for about 10 days and the fresh bait hasn't been touched.

Within 10 minutes of putting this out the little fellas have been practically living in the box eating the bait. I’m really pleased so far with the performance of this product. It’s only been 2 days so hopefully it will have the final desired effect. I had tried natural methods with no luck so had to resort to bait and have never used such products before. Easy to set up and place. I put a brick on top to ensure it did not move.

I purchased the boxes and poison after literally trying everything else. The rats refused to use the humane traps, ate the food left on the flap traps without setting them off, and didn’t take any notice of peppermint soaked cotton balls. I hated doing it, but this was the only answer. I used this as an exterminator expert we previously consulted years ago used something similar. I put the boxes in the garden shed and in a lean too and checked them weekly. The first two weeks the poison was completely gone, not this week just a nibble was taken, thus I’ll leave it for another week. I’ve not seen or heard the rodents for a week. I’ve found three dead rats so far. The only down side is the horrid smell they make decomposing - sickly sweet. I do have a dog, but he is not a chewer, nor would he eat dead rats. If you have pets then be aware of the risks. An excellent product, that does the job quickly. I would recommend to a friend.

Despite the Amazon courier saying they couldn't deliver this item as they couldn't find my address, although I am a long-time purchaser of products and have full delivery details set up, including a safe place to leave items (I suspect the driver just returned it to the depot at the end of the day as it was getting late), it was delivered as usual today with no problem. Therefore my rating for the seller increases from 4 stars to 5 stars. This is also because the product is so easy to use and comes with fool-proof instructions. It is just what I wanted, regardless of the end result, which is to get rid of the rats that have been seen around the 2 bird tables. Never had rats before and, reluctant as I am to kill them, I don't want them bringing all their friends!

2 boxes and more bait blocks than I hopefully need (20+). Instructions are provided along with 2 keys and 2 bait dividers to be used if you put grain bait in the box (not provided). Using key is a bit fiddly...turning the key forces the securing arms apart, so when you feel max pressure, lift the lid..that's the fiddly bit. Bars provided for bait as noted in instructions. Put lid down to lock. Mine was wedged under the shed, so didn't need securing but other reviews have indicated this is needed..an old brick on top? Anyway. Now wait and see if effective...the important bit!!
