The picture makes it look like a big knife, but you have to pay attention to the dimensions. This is the cutest little dagger I have held. The blade is mirror polished. The metal guard and pummel are also polished and flawlessly smooth. I got a strange enjoyment rubbing my thumb and index finger against the smooth metal guard. The wooden handle transitions seamlessly with the brass liners and other parts. It's made of pakkawood, which is an engineered wood composite that resembles natural wood, without the tendency to warp or crack. The leather sheath is also high quality. The surface is so smooth it reflects light. The signed buckle is a nice touch. Since the blade is made of entry-level stainless steel, I don't expect it to hold up to serious heavy use like batoning. It is very light, so it's handy as a fast weapon.

Purchased this as a gift for a family member who knows his way around knives. When it arrived, I was so impressed I nearly kept it for myself. High quality craftsmanship, well balanced blade, and razor sharp right out the box. Highly recommended.
