I always wait and use what I purchase for awhile before submitting a review and I absolutely love everything about this little speaker. Sounds good, charge lasts as expected, connectivity is good, love how it lights up. Nice and compact. Haven't had a single problem with it other than my youngest taking it all the time. :D

Although I have a 12 watt Anker bluetooth speaker that sounds great, this one has more volume and added bass, that I really appreciate, as it gives a more robust sound. I purchased this in lieu of a sound bar for my tv and it easily synced up well with my Roku, so once I turn on the tv, I just use the roku remote for volume and mute. Makes viewing very convenient and way more affordable than the ridiculously priced sound bars. Not to mention, if I'm listening to a story or podcast through the Roku, I can just take the speaker with me to another room and keep listening as I get other things done. Of the 3 bluetooth speakers I tested for sound quality (Oonz, Belkin, and this one), I liked this one the best. It's a bit more weighty than the others, but I feel that speaks to the quality of the build of this speaker. I feel it was worth the money spent, and I'm enjoying it. It's easy to charge and lasts a good duration.

I purchased this speaker along with the Anker Soundcore Boost and the Aomais Sport II+ All 3 are great sounding speakers. The Aomais doesn't get as loud as the others but it is cheaper in price and for the price sound good. It's much more rugged if that's what your're looking for. The Anker has such great sound for the size that it is, which is the smallest of the 3. I listen to it and wonder how such a big sound can come from something so small. It has a BassUp button which for obvious reasons, but is more effective when the volume is at a lower level. Higher and you really don't notice a change in the bass and may distort a little but still sounds great without the BassUp. The Anker looks more elegant, it can go with anyone's fancy living room decor and blend in. This speaker really is nice. That said, I like the Doss the most. Mind you, it has more watts and is the priciest. What sets it apart for me is the bass. I sat these 3 speakers side by side and listened one at a time and let's face it, bass is king. The Doss definitely has the best bass response of the lot. You can hear the bass roll on the bass notes if you know what I mean. There is an extra bass button and even at higher volumes, you don't get that distortion. The highs and mids aren't lacking either but most speakers have those, its the bass that is harder to find and this speaker has the power. Yes it has a light show but I don't need all that so I turned the lights off, which you can do by pressing and holding the extra bass button a few times. Not as elegant looking as the Anker because this a party type speaker but still looks really nice and sounds even better. And it came in green, my favorite color!!! I recommend all 3, Aomais for good sound around water as fully waterproof or hiking because you can strap it to your backpack. The Anker if you want something smaller in size with huge sound, a speaker that fits with the style of your room, any room. The Doss if you want good clean clear sound with excellent bass to match. Enough said. Only thing I didn't test is the battery life, so you will have to take the product's word for it.

I picked up this speaker, on sale, back before Christmas. Because I wasn’t familiar with the brand and I didn’t pay a lot, my expectations were low. After trying it out, I am satisfied with what I got. I didn’t expect it to be amazed and I wasn’t. The battery life is OK. The sound is OK. Connectivity is easy. This product is FINE. If you want the best, this isn’t it. If you have kids that neither appreciates sound quality or is overly responsible with their things, why spend a lot on a speaker? That’s my view on this.

My bride got this for me as a birthday gift, and it has proven to be most useful. Battery life is very good, and - once recognized, it syncs with my older iPhone within a second or two. We use it at the pool every time we go. No, it doesn't have the bass of a SONOS or JBL, but it certainly adequate for my needs. Today, we fired it up under the covered cabana, tuned into a new station and slipped into the cool water. We usually set it on a table out of direct sunlight, and it projects beautiful tunes across the 50' x 30' pool with ease. I can use Alexa or Sirius XM or Pandora to stream practically anything I want with enough volume to entertain the "Geritol Crowd" around the big pool, and bring it home to stream music and news while I'm working in the garage. I have no complaints. DOSS isn't as well known as other brands but the German engineering shines through. Update 9/30/21 - Bluetooth failed, multiple attempts to connect and reset and power cycles couldn't force it to connect to my phone. Returned for a replacement which comes tomorrow. Doubt it's a big issue, still have faith in DOSS products and Amazon returns made it almost painless. Probably a one time issue, but just be aware. Would I buy it again ? Heck, yeah !

This Bluetooth speaker was a great buy. The sound quality is great and it's portable. This is a very versatile product. I gave it as a gift and the person lost the charging cord. We contacted the company and talked to Chelsea she found a replacement cord and provided it at no cost.qw are very grateful for the amazing customer service.

I bought this Bluetooth speaker for my girlfriend and overall the quality has been pretty good. The sound is clear, the bass is noticeable, and it gets loud enough for everyday use without sounding bad. I also like that it’s waterproof, which makes it more useful around the house, outside, or near the pool without worrying as much about splashes. Overall, good sound quality, solid bass, and a nice speaker for the price.

I've owned a Doss Soundbox Touch for a couple of years and use it with my PC. I now have an Echo Show and decided I wanted a speaker to pair with it to give me the ability to play songs off a micro sd card if I took the speaker outside. Since I had such good luck with the Touch I ordered the Pro+. This little speaker has amazing sound quality and plenty loud for what I need. I'm very impressed. I had the speaker paired to the Show in a couple of minutes. I didn't think I'd care for the lights but I like them every now and again and they're easy to turn on and off. The speaker is solid, well made. The rubberized coating is very nice. The one problem I had was of my own making. When I play music from the micro SD card I like it to shuffle. To do this you have to email Doss Support to download firmware to make the change to shuffle. I emailed them, downloaded the firmware. However, the speaker would not recognized the firmware and I drove the poor support person, Alicia, crazy until I figured out what was wrong. I downloaded the file named 'Upgrade.FWN' twice. One copy went to my PC and the second to a micro sd card for insertion in the speaker. Well, unbenounced to me since the copy that went to the sd card was the 'second' download, the computer renamed it 'Upgrade (1).FWN. After a day of back and forth with Alicia I finally figured out what it was and removed the '(1)' from the file name. Once I did that the speaker accepted the firmware and everything was fine. Sorry Alicia.
