Do these have much condensation when thawing?

Your environment (humidity level) is what will affect condensation. Not the product itself.

Why can't the 5lb version be shipped to me, it won't let me order it. all the other sizes can. i'm in san diego, ca.

California has environmental regulations that prevent the chemicals in thises ice blocks from being shipped inside California!

Will the xl fit in a yeti roadie

I have a RTIC 20 (think it's a tad bigger than the Roadie) and the XL will fit but I find that 3 or 4 of the Large size works much better.

How does this product expose you to hazardous chemicals?

So many chemicals and substances fall under California's Prop 65 warning that it's on almost everything. Prop 65 includes a chemical that forms naturally on vegetables when they are roasted. What's "hazardous" in this ice pack? Probably nothing, in any reasonable sense of the word.
