Bought to use in my car for traveling office incidentals
I bought this to keep in my car for spare AA & AAA batteries, notebook, pens, markers, 100' steel measuring tape. etc. -- things I won't use every day as I travel for work but will need occasionally. It's a small, well-made bag--good canvas material, sturdy zipper. This is my second Rothco bag, the first one bought to hold small tools used around the house. It keeps them together and fits nicely in a kitchen cabinet. These are very versatile small bags and I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a third one.

Perfect for Sharpening Supplies
Over the years, I've accumulated a number of sharpening stones. Wanted something to keep them all in one place and all protected. This bag is perfect! The Japanese waterstones are housed in their cardboard boxes with bubble-plastic wraps. This keeps them separate (no grit contamination). The diamond stones fit. The strops fit. Everything is in one place and bag is clearly strong enough to not tear. The zipper is heavy duty. The cost is totally reasonable. And the fact the bag doesn't have some fancy branding makes it a lot more stealth, in that random people spotting this won't see a big "steal me" sign, which is what a brand name on the side of a tool bag says (at least in my neighborhood. Woot Rothco! I wish these were made in USA (mine was made in India), but the materials and stitching quality are excellent.

Simple and great
*Pros: a lot of storage for the size, excellent construction and material, looks good. *Cons: none that I can think of *Bottom line: I would recommend this bag to anyone needing a small tool bag for storage. Comments: This bag is excellent! It is simple and tough (made from canvas) and has a lot of storage for a small bag. Its just about the size of a shoe box, has nice flexibility but a rigid bottom to maintain its shape. It folds down to be small if you need it to. It has 4 pockets sewn into each side of the inside about the size to hold a screwdriver or socket wrench. On the outside there are 3 pockets on each side covered by a flap. One large one in the center and two smaller pockets where you see the snaps in the photo. All in all, a lot of storage for this small bag! A major plus to this material is that it does NOT fold over and fall into itself cutting off use of the pockets. They are open and accessible when you have your hands full and need to get in them. There's a reason why the military has been using canvas bags for decades, they work and they last. I bought this bag because I needed somewhere to store my Craftsman 12v impact gun, 12v drill/driver, the hex bit set, and the small battery that goes with it. All of these components fit and there's room for another bit set when I add to my collection.

Great little tote bag for all kinds of things.
This is a great little bag, spectacular for the price. Nice heavy canvas, solid zipper, solid buttons, nice stiff plastic bottom panel, solid construction. Perfect for toting around a small tool kit. I bought one to try out, then I bought three more of them because they're so handy. One for a bunch of scientific field guides, one for an emergency kit for the car, one for A/V cables and adapters, one for tools. I'll probably end up with a few more. Whatever little kit you can imagine putting together, this bag is probably perfect for carrying it around. My only nit-picky complaint is that the interior small pockets aren't that useful. They're about 2 or 3 inches deep and an inch or so wide, and they're pretty baggy and loose, so things fall out of them easily. They're not deep enough for pens, pencils, screwdrivers, or wrenches, and too loose for swiss army knives and the like. Still, there are some larger useful pockets on the outside. Overall, though, great little bag.

Great Kit Bag
This is a great kit bag for my day trip salt water fishing. Accommodates the lures, extra line, leads and hooks, weights and an extra reel without being bulky. Extra heavy weight material and a bullet proof zipper makes it perfect for my application. I used some silicone zipper lube on the zipper to allow a smoother operation and to prevent water intrusion, but that just my preference. Buying another few for tools and “stuff”

I Depend On These
I have one of these bags for bike tools. Another for shoe care products. One for my foot care stuff (I have feet that need constant attention or they dry and crack), another one with my Bosch screwdriver, batteries, charger and bit kits, one for flashlights, batteries and chargers, one for random electronic items that get occasional use outside my home, and need a quick way to grab and go. These Rothco tool bags are sturdy, cool, handy and perfectly sized for many different tasks. They come in multiple colors so it’s easier to keep track of what’s what. Cost/benefit is really good, and I’ve yet to experience a failure in ten years of using these bags. Every time I identify another need, I get one of these. They make life easier.

Sturdy, practical and economical bag
This is an amazing bag! It's sturdy canvas, with an industrial zipper and there are exterior snap pockets on both sides. The interior stands flat because of a stiff plastic board inserted at the bottom (covered by canvas). On both sides of the interior are four small (1.5 in) "tool pockets" which can hold pens and pencils or screwdrivers or any small vertical item. It's a small bag but it holds a lot and it is attractively designed. I bought one as a permanent catch-all bag for my car (first aid, flashlight, wipes, microfiber cloths, etc). I'm going to order another one as a front seat gear bag for my art travels, to hold a notebook, my camera, cables, cards and other accessories for my camera and dash-mounted video camera. I like that it can sit on the seat and stay open and also that it doesn't scream "high-end gear inside"! I'll probably wind up getting a third one for my studio, as it'll make a great traveling toolbox--large enough to hold a drill, bits, a small hammer, screwdrivers and fasteners.

Perfect for Traveling! Great for Sundries & Personal Items!
I’ve bought a bunch of Rothco bags over the years, starting when I was a kid as part of an Indiana Jones costume. I’ve always loved the utility of these canvas bags, though, and this one I have now makes a perfect travel bag for sundries, since the larger size gives it greater utility for a trip that’s longer than just a weekend. I love these SUPER durable bags and any excuse to carry one; all the pockets are super-useful too. It’s one of MANY Rothco canvas utility bags I have. I’ve got the huge Paratrooper bags, the small canvas duffle, the WWII Alice knapsack (which is my go-to trade-show bag) the map bag (which is my dog-walking bag). I love them all!

High Price but You get what you pay for.
Maybe a bit over priced but you get what you pay for. I like Rothco equipment because it is very good quality but can be extortionate if you buy from the wrong place. This bag is extremely robust. The rigid bottom is a nice touch. A bit small but perfect for what I want to use it for, it holds my Firebox, Gas Wood Burning Stove, wind shield, cook wear and also Tinder & fire starting kit. An ideal grab bag I keep in the boot of the car.
