A nice, neat little gadget. It looks good and feels solid. It comes with a small bag that I am sure will protect it in my car glovebox. I have used it today to check all of my tyres. It was easy to use and even with my failing eyesight the gauge was clear and easy to read. I only use this for one car, but it certainly seems that it will serve its purpose well.

I wasn't sure which tread depth gauge to buy, but I chose this one based on other people's reviews. I have now had the chance to use it and can say nobody should be disappointed with it. Its dial is easy to read and accurate; it’s easy to use and doesn't require batteries. I’m very pleased with it.

After mislaying my small basic tyre depth gauge, I tried a digital version which turned-out to be very fussy in use and gave different readings every time, so that was returned and I have reverted to a simple basic version again with this Godeson which allows fast, one handed use with an easy to read face. When placed on a flat surface the zero was dead-on but even if the reading had been 5mm higher it is simple enough to take that off whatever reading you have, and as a bonus the face is colour coded for even easier monitoring. For those uncertain about what the tyre depth readings represent, here is a quick guide: 1: if the inner or outer treads are wearing down much more than the rest of the tyre, you will need to have your Tracking checked by a Garage. 2: if the centre of the tyre is wearing down more than the two outer edges, your tyre is over-inflated. 3: if the two outer areas are wearing down more than the centre, your tyre is under- inflated. Also, as you are already face to face with your tyres, don’t forget to check for debris or nails which may be stuck in the tread or tyre, and look for any abnormal cracking in the sidewalls. This Godeson gauge is more than good enough to help you get maximum life out of your expensive tyres.

Easy to use, easy to read, and accurate. Good enough quality to expect it to last. I use it occasionally to check motorcycle tyres.

仕事で使ってます。タイヤ以外ブレーキ残量測る時も。2.0の老眼鏡使わなくても、1ミリのメモリが10ミリくらいに大きい表示なので、わかりやすいです。デジタル表示のように電池の心配無く、ノギスのようにメモリが小さく見えないことも無いです。長く使ってるうちになシャフトがすり減って0点が少しずつずれますが、大体の測定の目安にしか使わないのでぜんぜん良いです。安いし、使い勝手抜群です‼️

Assez lourd (mais pas trop gros, il tient bien en main) et de bonne finition, l'outil semble assez qualitatif. Le bouton-poussoir et la jauge coulissent sans jeu et avec fermeté, comme ça on peut prendre la mesure sur le pneu sans regarder, puis rapprocher l'outil de ses yeux et lire sur l'écran. Sa précision (au 1/10e de mm) et sa justesse (vérifiée) sont très élevées. Contrôler la profondeur de mes pneus est devenu facile voire ludique. Je recommande complètement ! Conseil : nettoyez bien la surface de la zone à mesurer pour éliminer tout gravier et donc tout biais.
