MARUTAI Kumamoto Tonkotsu Instant Noodle Soup Ramen Non-fried For 2 servings

This ramen is very good and it is priced right. Soup is tasty and flavorful. You can really taste the pork. Noodles are very good and it’s 100 times better than the average cup noodles. It is so easy to cook and I typically cook the noodles for 3 minutes. The only problem is that the directions are in Japanese and unfortunately I don’t speak Japanese. There are pictures provided and I think it helps but I would want a direction in English as well. Here is how I cook it – -For 1 serving you need 500ml of water. 1 Packet comes with two servings -Boil the 500ml of water -Drop the noodles -Cook it for 3 minutes under medium high heat. -While the noodles are cooking put the Fat and the Powder -Stir them constantly until 3 minutes is over -Then you are done! I probably bought 20 packets in the last two months and I plan to buy more in the near future. I definitely recommend this amazing ramen.

This soup is SO delicious. Obviously it’s not gonna taste EXACTLY like ramen-shop ramen but it is pretty close to a basic tonkotsu. I absolutely love getting tonkotsu ramen so being able to make it at home for cheap is great. The soup itself is VERY creamy and rich and the noodles are good as well (just be careful not to overcook the noodles). It also on takes 3 minutes to make! There are two servings of noodles, powder packets and the fat packets. Since I didn’t have actual pork belly I used cooked bacon and added it to let the bacon soak up in the soup (not a bad idea). I also added a soy sauce boiled egg, and next time I get this I wanna go all out with the nori, bean sprouts and etc.

So the flavor is amazing. I knew what I was looking for and I've just been trying brand after brand looking for it. The flavor is amazing and not bad at all. I just have a couple complaints. The noodles will basically dissolve into a weird paste almost if you accidentally overcook them. They seem to be of lower quality even tho they look like they're good quality. Better quality ones held up better. And the oil packet was kind of grayish black.. which I have no idea why but again, it tastes amazing. I'd just recommend using your own noodles and throwing these out. I'm also annoyed about the price changing so drastically at random. But I will likely repurchase due to the flavor profile.

This ramen is fantastic! I live in St. Louis, MO and I have no way to get good ramen on a daily basis. I have had good ramen before but I was visiting my relatives out of State at that time. This is my dream come true! Honestly, this tastes like the 'good ramen' you can buy in shops here in the midwest but with the convenience of being cheaper and much faster to make. Add some chopped green onion and a marinated egg and you've got yourself a delicious lunch!

I am a bit of a ramen junkie and like to try as many different brands as possible. I also travel for a living and always make a point to visit the local ramen joints when I'm out and about. As far as instant ramen goes, this brand is damn good. Noodles are good, broth is good, and it's easy to make. This brand is about the closest I've found to authentic Tonkotsu from an actual ramen house. The only downside is the price, holy crap is it expensive. However, as a once in awhile treat it really is some of the best instant ramen I've found.

We used bought locally many times, because my kid likes it. Due to run out of, bought them from amazon this time. However, the noodle taste not QQ, too soft and like powdered. I changed cooking time shorter, doesn’t help. Not sure because QA or shipping. Feel dispointed, especially bought with triple price. Even worse, I can not return. Leave review here, people need be more cautious on buying oversea food.

I ordered a handful of these from Amazon, since my usual Japanese ramen I order from Japan (Tsuta Soba Ramen) wasn't available. This one was my favorite out of the ones I ordered. I found that putting in a little bit of siracha sauce to the broth made it way better, but the flavor was really good as is. It's almost as good as restaurant ramen, but for home cooked it's awesome!

色々な豚骨があるけど、熊本が一番味が濃いと聞いて買ってみました。 濃厚な豚骨の香りでした。 非常に美味しかったです。スープも飲み干すほど。 また買いたい一品です

I was craving ramen but all the stuff i found was so expensive so i went for this. Its incredibly tasty compared to other cheaper ramen stuff. I added an egg yolk to the broth that made it creamier. Everything is decent quality for the price. Recommended
