Much better than i ever expected! I took a few pictures that i am posting so everyone can see how bright these led lights are. I have the lights plugged into the tv usb port for their power. I wanted everyone to see the unaltered pictures that i took after installing the lights. Led lights really do make a huge difference i think in tv viewing, but that is just my opinion. So far i have had no issues with the colors or using the remote and installing was extremely simple. The only real negative thing i can say about this is the App. I did install the app on the phone, but i feel the remote works better than the app. But I cannot complain, for the price, the only two words i can really say are.......Thank you!!!

The remote is OK. Like just OK. Nothing to brag about. Also, it needs to be perfect aligned to the box that hangs with the USB wire. But once you plug the USB into the TV, the TV blocks it so you can’t really use the remote that well. Also, there are limited functions in my opinion.. either way this is super super bright and it gets the job done. I bought it as a back light for my TV and that’s what it does. It gives me a back light I love blue, so I usually leave it on blue, and it is super bright. If I want to change the color I am able to change it. There’s also a music setting and then like a flashing setting. That’s basically it I’m very happy with my purchase. Also my TV is a 55 inch and it was just I’d say about 2 to 3 inches too big for my TV. (Still fit perfect in my opinion) so if you have a big TV, it might not be big enough for you. Anyway, if you have a 55 to a 65 inch TV. I think this is the perfect back light for you. Look how beautiful it looks in the pictures.

I returned a fairly expensive Govee LED light set because it was too complicated and ended up being too much for what I was looking for. I didn’t need a camera on top of my tv nor did I want one. I was looking for some lights that would take 5-10 minutes to set up, would plug into a USB slot into the back of my tv, that had a Bluetooth app for remote control use, and wouldn’t require several extra cords along with having to feed a big blocky power outlet through my wall to keep any cords from showing. I saved myself $85 by getting this led light strip that had everything I wanted, and got more than what I really expected. It’s a complete game changer for my living room. Will be ordering 2 more sets for the other tv’s in my house right after submitting this review. Price is amazing and the quality you get for that price is really second to none. My only ‘gripe’ is that the physical remote included in the box is impossible for me to use while sitting down on my couch, due to the sensor being in the back of the tv. But I’m not sure I’d even call that a bad thing, as I’d rather use my phone to control it and not have an extra remote laying around in my living room. As a first time user of led backlights, I couldn’t be more pleased at the ease of setup and the functions that come with it. Pic included is on my “65 inch tv with the 13.4ft strip.

On our 70” screen light is lacking at the corners, on a 60-65” it might not be an issue. If you’re too far away from the wall, the reflective light will not appear bright or even be visible if too far. You want to mount it as close to the edge as you can get it to maximize the light. Across the bottom where all the circuitry is located puts the lights too close to the wall where they do not appear as bright and you actually see each light reflecting off of the wall as a dot on ours. All in all, I am happy with the lighting itself. The remote however is almost worthless, due to the sensor being mounted on the back of the screen, the line of sight is no more, you will need to be about 4-5’ from the tv’s corner where the sensor is located. Fortunately, they have an app which for me works flawlessly, just takes a few minutes to figure it out and has a lot more features than the remote. When plugged into the USB port on the tv, they came on and off with the tv, but always defaulted to an ugly pale yellowish color. I then plugged them into a usb outlet using a usb extension cord, and when you turn them on and off and back on again they remembered my setting, however you need to turn them on/off using the app which I don’t mind, or the remote.

I am one of those people who do not like to sit in the dark to watch television, so I routinely turn on a corner lamp which often provides some glare on the screen. I saw these and thought that this might be a solution - and it is. The soft glow (and you can pick a color, although I rarely do) of the lights behind and surrounding the screen provides the light that I want, without screen glare or eye strain. Although it is possible to install with one person, I found that two people is easier because once you stick the adhesive to a surface, I really don't want to try and adjust it. I initially installed with pieces of tape on the corner to try out locations and whether or not I would like it. After some adjustments, I did the final installation. The company touts their remote app, but I didn't bother downloading it. The lights turn on with the television and there is a remote if I have the desire to change colors or brightness. It is an IR remote, so the receiver has to be visible to the remote to work; but, it is small and unobtrusive. I like it!

It’s awesome! I’m not sure wherere the negative reviews are from unless they majorly updated this recently. So for the very modest price of $23, you get this major payoff! It looks very cool. I thought I’d have to take my tv off the wall, but I was able to stick it on, without any issues. The adhesion is great. I didn’t use the extra tabs. They could def I prove the instructions for downloading the app but it’s not hard to figure out. Tip, if you’re like me and don’t want to take down the huge 40 lb tv from the wall, don’t take off the adhesion tape until you have your placement right. I took off an inch of tape to partially stick it, but adjusted it so the corners fit right. The remote is terrible tho, and I’m not even sure it works because the buttons are hard to press and won’t do what I want. But the app works great on my tablet so I use that. It turns on and off with the tv. And it looks like a million bucks! I love it. Installed in 10 minutes and I’m just a mom with no technical skills. So a kid could install this is they know where the usb is on their tv.

I purchased these lights for my 65" TV mainly for a white biased light, but I also enjoy slow strobe effects while watching music videos. Pros: - The strip of light seems durable with a nice adhesive strip to tack on to the back of your TV. - The remote works great and the smartphone app has a lot of cool features. - Great deal for the price point. - Variety of colors, settings for strobe effects, etc. Cons: - First off, as you can see in my picture, some of the lights are simply not in sync with each other giving off an inaccurate color, specifically for white (which is why I bought it). - It looks like 3 of my lights are just stuck or something, again, contributing to inaccurate colors. - The lights will randomly turn back on while your TV is off and you've specifically powered the lights off (either through the app, remote, or manually). - They advertise that this comes with clips for the corner wires, but my version only came with some sub par adhesive tape (which kind of does the job, but not as well as clips would). It's hard to say if I'd recommend this. For the price point they're great, but nobody wants to buy a product that doesn't work as advertised. I'm disappointed in the product I received. I'm one of those people where things I buy need to work as intended or else I'll just return / replace them. It's likely I just received a bad set of lights. I'll reach out to the seller and see if this warrants a replacement. I'll update my review if anything changes.

I have received my item that seems to have some defect or failure in it. I installed it on my tv unit and the top, left and right strips where working fine and color was changing normally based on my color selection. However, the bottom strip was not changing and was emitting green color. I tried different colors but was not making any difference and color remained green
