I spray painted mine black to blend in better. So far so good. Really love the quality of them.

Great for low speeds
I mounted this to my truck bed side rail in a few places using larger sheet metal screws and although the construction of the mount is super solid, the truck bed is not. It's just sheet metal. Screws tore right out around 65 MPH with a heavy 3'x5' flag.

I adapted this to be mounted on the back of my motorcycle it works good but you have to work w/it to keep the flag in place I used a trailer hitch for M/C to mount it.

I mounted it outside (it is a flag after all...), and within 2 days it was covered in rust
I ordered 2 units, one is covered in rust after 2 days outside, the other one is still quite OK, I am not sure if one of them does not have a coating, but it looks like crap. I would not buy this again.
