How is this item used? please explain clearly how it works with glock 19 9mm w/ threaded barrel. also fn 509 tac threaded barrel (9mm) thank you

Wasp Less-Lethal is a firearm accessory which has two main components:
a) Launch platform is an aluminum Barrel Adaptor with 1/2 x 28 TPI and b) Projectile or Baton, made from foam over an aluminum core.

The setup is to attach the Barrel Adaptor to the end of a threaded barrel, the same way as a compensatory or suppressor is attached. The current Wasp model is designed for use on a 9mm pistol.

Loading, the Baton, it slides over the barrel adaptor. There is an O-ring molded into the Baton, which holds the Baton in place. The pistol is loaded with standard ammunition.

When the pistol is fired, the bullet is captured by the Baton, and the Baton is launched downrange to the target. The Effective range is up to 25 feet.

As long as the Glock 19 and FN 509 thread design matches the Barrel Adaptor standard of 1/2 x 28 TPI, both should operate as above. Glock 9mm factory threads are metric and will not fit this introductory model.

Firm knowledge of firearm safety is required.

The WASP Weapon is designed for use with any 9mm firearm equipped with a ½” x 28 threaded barrel. Glock models 17, 19, 26, and 43 are excellent choices. Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield, and the US Army's new Sig Sauer p320, are also compatible.
