The knob has 5 positions: Off, Fan, 1, 2, 3. The power levels are 600W, 900W, 1500W.(From the owner's manual.)

Does this heater turn off automatically if it tips over?

The photo says it's a 1030TW but this picture next to this question is a 0020..So who knows? The 1030TW definitely shuts off if it is tipped over. And it's immediate. It has a little button on the bottom that touches the floor. If it is tipped over or lifted up, the button pops down and shuts it off. I have 3 dogs who seem to enjoy knocking this thing over at least once a day.

Six Feet, give or take an inch. Judging from the other answers you are getting I would suspect that the model has been redesigned or varies a lot from one lot to another. Mine is a heavier than average light grey board, 71 inches long or 73 1/2 inches if you include the two-blade polarized plug. Good heater for the money and the cord length is one of its good features. I always shy away from high power appliances like heaters that require an extension cord to be useable.
