OV/P95 Advanced Comfort Reusable Respirator 7512P1-DC, Medium

Fits very well on my face with zero leaks. Plenty of adjustments for a perfect fit. Really appreciate the additional charcoal filters to block VOC's, and it really does work. I can spray paint and not smell ANY of the solvents.

I bought this mask since it appears to be a slight upgrade to the paint project mask found at Home Depot. I used it for auto painting using spray cans. Some of these can be quite nasty and have a strong smell of solvents. With the mask on, there was no detectable smell whatsoever. I found the mask a little tricky to assemble, but I finally got the hang of it after reading the instructions. During that process, A round rubber airflow backflow valve came out, but this was easily put back into place over the filter entrance inside of the mask. It just pushes in. It comes with 2 6001 filters installed and an additional sealed package with 4 particulate filters. I don't know yet how long they will last, or how to tell if they need changing. The mask is comfortable but a little bulky at the bridge of the nose which interfered just a bit with the full coverage goggles I was using, but no real problem. Mask is comfortable around the head and easy to wear and remove once you understand how the hook works.

Using this mask with P95 particulate filters and it works great! It's a night and day difference with the OV cartridges, especially in confined spaces such as my RV (painting my private domicile). I don't use the P100 as I want to keep the loading down and it's not necessary in my situation. The mask itself is quite comfortable; the only complaint is that the bridge of the nose comes close to my goggles. This will probably interfere with many fully sealing goggles. I love the variety of filters available for this mask. I will be buying separate N95 particulate filters so that I can use this really comfortable respirator when I work in minor dust/mold situations. P100/N100 are not required for less than 10 square feet as per the CDC. I see some reviewers speaking about the P100 filters, but there's no real use for P100/N100 on this respirator. It's better just to get full face protection when your goggles don't fit snugly (comfortably). Do you really want to work in an environment where you can't fully protect your moist eyes from mold spores and bits of poo? Don't take Half-measures. If I find myself in a tough mold situation I'll say no thanks and burn the place down instead. If you need a good everyman respirator - this is the one. If you have major mold issues to remediate, I suggest you go 'full measure' and consider your options (full-face mask, flame thrower, brother-in-law) before buying this respirator. The final thing is the mask does not seem to seal well around facial hair; a goatee would be OK at the largest. Note that the back strap is hard plastic. If you've undergone chemotherapy or have no hair, the upper strap may irritate your skin so wear a hat.

This mask is pretty comfortable. I recently used it on a big refinishing job. When fitted properly, and using the right filters you won't smell a thing. It stay's cool all day long and doesn't pool up with condensation like other respirators that I've had. Two things I don't like is that it leaves a little red mark on my nose if I wear it a long time. Also, sometimes the head strap digs in to my ears. Otherwise, a great piece of safety equipment. Real easy to fit and adjust. I did the seal test and it works well for me (5'8 asian male). The suffocating sense is kinda scary though. It's a powerful respirator, and comes with an extra set of the p95 filters too. Completely can't smell anything outside, and works better than non respirators (no fog on glasses, no smelly mask). Only thing I noticed is that you have to take deep breathes, as it's harder to draw air in since there is a chamber in front of your face that you need to move air in and out from. Highly recommended for professional use with the right filter.

I've used this a lot since purchase. I bought it mainly for use with a post-catalyzed lacquer I needed to spray on some stair balusters and newel posts but I also have used it for more mundane things like cleaning the shower glass. Those bathroom cleaners can be nasty! Working with the lacquer, with solvents like xylene or acetone, I don't smell a thing. The respirator is extremely easy to use and comfortable in use. I've worn it mostly when clean shaven but it worked OK with a very light stubble. A few days growth and it doesn't seal as well. A clean shave is always best with respirators like this. The main thing that isn't entirely clear is how often to change the cartridge. If I was an industrial user I might change it daily. My pro-am use isn't steady so it lasts longer. I store the cartridges in a zip-lock plastic bag when not in use and they've worked well through several days of spraying, a few hours a day, in my garage with the doors open. I bought a spare set of cartridges but haven't had to use them yet.

I bought this when I was stripping old varnish in my house trim. IT worked great I did not smell anything. However I did get a little skin irritation on my upper nose and it felt a little tight.

I use it for enamel paint spraying. Really comfortable, cool, and easy to breathe. And it filters out all trace of chemical smell for what I’m doing. Would definitely recommend and worth the money given the health benefits.

I used this respirator at work and liked it so much that I bought one for myself for use at home.

I wear eye glasses and have a short beard and pretty much every respirator I try either fogs up my glasses or is uncomfortable (glasses arms snagging in straps). This respirator is very comfy and feels super secure.
