TULIP ColorShot Fabric Spray Paint, Black, 3 oz

Doesn't cover much. Runs out quickly. Small can. Could not finish craft project. Very dis appointed. It's not worth the money.

My red backpack had faded badly from sun exposure, and this spray restored it. The red matched perfectly, and one coat was all it needed. The few lighter patches you can see in my photos are spots I missed, not a problem with the paint. I'll go back and fix this ... eventually. The nozzle is good, and you can control how much paint comes out by adjusting how hard you press. It dries quickly too. I covered the hardware with regular painter's tape to protect it, and that worked fine. The only downside is that the fabric feels slightly stiffer than the original, but I don't mind. For the price, it's a great way to revive a favorite bag.

Excellent black color for fabric. We’re using this on a brand-name beach canvas shoes that are not washable. This restores the color - we taped off the white edges and the shoestring area - we are pleased with the color. Because we have not washed them yet or got them wet. It’s hard to decide if the color will be permanent but overall it’s definitely a great restoration. Solid black color. We’re glad we tried it.

It works but lots of coats over dark colors. I probably used about 7 coats and it could use a few more. Be sure to tape out EVERYTHING that you don’t want paint on. The paint dust gets in the air and goes right on your clothes. I taped out these pants (which I thought was enough since I wasn’t going anywhere near other areas) and when I pulled out the stencils and tape I seen my entire pants were covered in paint dust, areas of my pants I didn’t go anywhere near with the paint. I was ready to throw them out. I was 100% able to fix them using 90% rubbing alcohol. I put it on a cloth and kept rubbing and the paint came out entirely. Then I used cotton swabs in 90% rubbing alcohol to clean up the letters. It took a long time but the pants were saved. So to avoid all this cover EVERYTHING you don’t want pant on with masking tape lol

As others have stated, the color is very light. It sprayed perfectly for me, nothing clogged, I was able to get even coverage for as long as the can lasted. But the can didn't last very long, I needed 2 1/2 cans to get an even color on this 14"x12" lampshade. I'm very happy with how it turned out, just wish I got more paint for my money. The scent was overwhelming, it was a windy day so I did it in my garage and hoo boy was that a mistake. Even with the house door closed and the garage door open it took about 6 hours for the smell to dissipate from my living room. The cats were not pleased. I originally bought one can, had to order 2 more to complete the project, which was a pricey pain in the tuckus. On the plus side, it dries quickly and evenly and sprays nicely. I think next time I'll just use regular spray paint

I have a white rug that a dog peed on, and in spite of cleaning, the pale stain remained. I bought this product as a last resort, and I'm so glad I did! I sprayed it on the rug and after it dried, the stain had been "erased". Later, on an artisan placemat that had a wine stain, I used the product again and saved the appearance of the nice placemat. The product says that the paint once applied and dried is washable, and this has been true with the placemat. When sprayed on, the paint dries quickly. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

Just enough for my project. This was on a size 2XL so it had a good amount of paint in the can. Had a few minor spray errors but nothing huge. The majority of the errors I had were due to not taping the fabric good enough. The closer you get to the fabric the more saturated the spray. The further away you spray it gets more transparent looking.

The rating has a little to do with quality, but much more with quantity for the pricing. Can is small and it runs out very quickly. Got the same results using a regular size spray can for vinyl and fabric from Home Depot.
