I love this Boombox!!...it has got such a sleek retro look about it, and it takes you Back to the past but puts a foot in the present With adding Bluetooth and a nice LCD display!! I’ve given it five star’s because it does exactly what I want it to,be compact for my room and have just the right level of sound too! The added touch of having a remote control is Just a really great touch! It’s so cute is nice to look at and easy to use! It has an equaliser With 5 different sound field’s and for a little unit the sound is clear and impressive!! Don’t be expecting too much for it to be really basey although it’s great for the price!..it goes up to a maximum of Level 32 volume but Is Just right for my room...what is a really cool bonus is that it come’s in a choice of 9 different colour’s!!...and all for a great price of £39.99!..highly recommended!!😮❤️🎶xx

A little stereo but with a big heart for music. So glad I purchased this as it can play music from Bluetooth device, USB port, AUX connection and of course CD and radio. Sound is perfect, not too bass and not too tingy, quality stereo sound just as good if it was played on a bigger stereo. It's a great price and I definitely love the colour white and turquoise, it's a nice change from the regular black or grey. This comes in a variety of colours but I had to choose just one and this is very bright but not in your face bright. Will fit right in if using it in a kitchen or on the end of a small table etc. Portable by batteries or using a plug. I read a review where someone was unsure of the little black circle beneath the red light beside the lcd screen. Don't forget it's likely a sensor for the remote control. Every device does need a sensor in order for the remote control to connect.

The Roxel is incredibly versatile, connections, file formats read, remote control, and the sound is nice but lacks any real bass. It is also a very good price.

It came 2 days earlier than expected, worked perfectly immediately with both my CD and Bluetooth! I didn’t test other features as I won’t use them. Volume is great and I’ll include a video of it on Bluetooth but it worked just as great on CD. The remote worked when skipping songs on the CD or turning up/down the volume and I used the remote to change the function between radio, Bluetooth, cd etc. The buttons were easy to use as well I used it plugged in as it doesn’t come with batteries for portable use, you have to buy them separate. Super easy to use, I’m so glad I bought it! It’s going to be so aesthetic in my kitchen 🤭 Perfect blend of modern tools with that retro feel I was looking for This is my first review that’s how impressed I was 🤭

I spent hours trying to find a cd player which met my criteria and am very grateful to all the previous reviewers. I wanted a portable player that has a proper mains plug but also takes batteries if I want to use it outside. I wanted bluetooth and a headphone jack, a remote control and equaliser for choice of sound tones. Most of all I wanted a qood strong quality sound for my bucks. Happy to report this little beauty delivers on every front. Oh and the purple colour is gorgeous. More like a soft lilac. I did a video but trust me the sound from my phone doesn't do it justice. It sounds even better in the flesh.

I've just received this unit and after an afternoon of listening to cds that I haven't heard for a long time I must say it's absolutely brilliant great design, and as others have said the sound is really good even on full volume there's no distortion very clear sound I can't fault it ,it's not going to shake the windows but really pleased with it. The remote is great too very useful. And the fact that it's a uk company and uk distribution makes it a perfect buy for me . Perfect size to move around the house etc . I bought a good as new unit which I do quite often so I've saved a few pounds to boot . Well worth the extra pounds against cheaper units. Just buy and enjoy.

It doesn’t tell you on the instructions, on the box or in the Amazon description that the cd player does not work on battery power. It might work for a while but when I asked Roxel they said it isn’t designed to work by batteries ! Sound is good , so it’s a pity really

I purchased this item used as an ex-display item & unfortunately the CD did not play properly. Otherwise everything else on the Boombox was good quality for the price so I wanted a replacement not a refund. I also decided I did not like the original blue/white version & wanted a black one. Initially spoke to Amazon who were pleasant but unable to help so gave me the Merchants details: Retro Gadgets who rang me the next day and efficiently sent me a replacement black one with no quibbles. I am very pleased with the replacement which has a really good tone given its price and size.

Als Geschenk für mein Kind, ist es nun im täglichen Gebrauch und wird in allen kindlichen Lebenslagen verwendet. Radio, CD, USB, Bluethooth und die Fernbediengung funktionieren einwandfrei. Hat einen Sturz aus ca. 20 cm Höhe, bis auf einen Kratzer, schadlos überstanden. Würde ich wieder kaufen und auch allen Eltern empfehlen. Die Lautstärke ist für Kinderzimmer mehr als ausreichend und die Tonqualität meines Erachtens auch. Gut klingenden Bass kann man nicht erwarten und ich bin auch ganz froh darüber. Ich möchte schließlich nicht immer alles mithören müssen. Kopfhöreranschluss ist in diesem Zusammenhang auch positiv zu erwähnen. ^^ Mit guten Kopfhörern steht dem Sounderlebnis auch nichts mehr im weg.

Die Boombox war ein Geschenk, habe damit eine Wunsch von einer Liste erfüllt, somit kann ich nichts näheres darüber urteilen. Lieferung war prompt und intakt.

Leider ist das Radio nur für den Englischen Markt gedacht. Unsere Kleine kann noch kein Englisch. In der Beschreibung von Amazon stand auch nichts. Zudem stand nur ganz klein rechts UK. Das haben wir leider übersehen und eine Rücksendung käme uns 30,-Euro.
