The chip works, and appears to be brand new (no solder on it)
As the title says, "The chip works, and appears to be brand new (no solder on it.)" My switch was only charging with the cable one way before I replaced the m92t36, after replacing the charge port. This fixed the charge issue, but my dock still wasn't working. Reflowing the charge port and double checking it fixed the dock issue, so mission complete!

The IC I received was non functional.
The chip I received did not work, the return window was closed when I got around to installing the chip. Had another from a different vendor and it worked, fixed my issue. It's just the nature of the situation when buying clone or remake of proprietary parts like this, sometimes they don't work. Quality control is non existant.

One chip was doa edit both are dead
One chip was dead. Going to try the other i bought. Edit i tried the other chip and it only worked for the first boot and then after i reassembled the switch it was not working. So two faulty chips :/ there goes 30 bucks.
