The Big Bang Theory: Cast and Creators Live at PALEYFEST

I am a fan of the show. I thoroughly enjoyed this panel discussion. CONS: Pauley Perrette was not in the way. I had no trouble hearing any of the answers from the panel. Jim Parson was NOT in a grumpy mood. My internet connection works just fine. I wasn't annoyed that something I had always wanted to ask this cast, did not get asked. I was surprised that Chuck Lorre was not in restraints of any noticeable kind(I had a different picture of him from reading some of his placecards at the end of his shows). PROS: It was great fun.

Usually I find The Paley interviews disappointing but this is by far the best one. Very funny and lot's of super fans. Wish it had been longer.

I enjoyed very much listening to the characters and writers. The talent that is utilized is amazing. The only negative aspect was the host. She did not seem to be able to facilitate the questions or answers very well. She would move from question to question quickly which allowed for very little response time from the actors and writers. There were several instances where the questions were not really addressed at all because of her inability to host an event like this.. She was also very difficult to understand at times. I am sure she does a fine job with many things but facilitating this type of forum does not seem to be within her talent scope. She was less than adequate.

Consider this rating a rating for the whole series as well. My husband and I are die hard fans of the writing, the casting, the sets, the timing, the acting and the obvious way in which everything comes together. No piece can happen without all of the other pieces, as evidenced by the release of the first episode without Penny ... No Penny, no light. No light, no Magic. She makes it look so easy that you would think that anyone might be able to play the part, but not so. She brings real heart to the role, not just for Leonard, but also for Sheldon. Making Bernadette mean is a strike of genius. Who else could tame Simon's beast? Simon the actor is a genius. Would love to see more and more of his genius to offset his creepy. He cracks us up. Kevin has much to give as well. Keep this going, for this is a more talented cast than friends with much more challenging work at their fingertips. They have all the reason in the world to stick more tightly together. Please, people, do that together. you all need each other. Amy, there is nobody for Sheldon but you, and Sheldon, there will never be another you. I say this as a mom with two severely autistic grown up non verbal children. You may not think that you are a genius, but it takes a genius to deliver that character to us every week.Leonard, that makes YOU ... US! The rest of the world who pulls our hair out and searches for our reason for being even though we know we are reasonably intelligent - you are pivotal and play your role with comic perfection. We enjoyed going back and seeing you in Christmas Vacation just to watch those young facial expressions. Thank you to all, with profound thanks to the creators and the writers. Everyone has special needs and it is worthwhile in life to take the time to enjoy the idiosyncrasies of each of -- yes I believe it and I shall say it -- The Good Lord's characters!!

Great experience to see the cast off-cameras, having fun and interacting with the audience. Love the show and its characters

I really like The Big Bang Theory and was looking forward to the panel of its main characters. This was originally broadcast "live" to theaters around the nation. People in the theaters could text their questions to the producer who gave them to the "facilitator." I didn't catch her name, but I hope she doesn't facilitate other Paleyfest panels! There were a fair number of interesting questions by the audience members. Many of the questions could have involved answers given by each member of the ensemble. However, time & time again, questions were either dropped after everyone spoke at once unintelligibly. Or, one, maybe two members of the ensemble answered the question and the facilitator didn't give everyone a 'cue' that it was their turn to answer. I know they wanted the answers to be spontaneous, but it would have been nice to hear comments from most of the actors on most of the questions. Johnny Galeki barely said a word (no fault of the facilitator, but Galeki was in a very surly mood). I expect to be informed and entertained when I pay $11 for a 60 minute program. It makes me wonder if ANY of the Paleyfest videos are worth the money.

I enjoyed watching and getting some insight into one of my favorite shows!
