Nice book. Hopefully the database of sheep can be updated further.

An excellent compendium of small ruminant nutrition. Would have preferred a general topic discussion followed by species-specific requirements as opposed to the topic-specific layout. I finally color-coded the page edges that reference alpacas (new world camelids). Lots of useful information and lots not within my realm of expertise; nonetheless, a good reference.

ヤギや羊を畜産物収穫の為でなくペットとして、あるいは除草動物として細く長く飼育する際、何を与えたらよいのか、特に体調不良の時や環境が限られている時に何を補うべきか、具体的な数値もあげて書いてある資料はなかなか無い。この本は全部目を通すのには大変なボリュームだが、見出しを追って知りたい項目を見つければ、平易な英語で重要事項を読むことができる。ゴールデンスタンダードで引用するにも安心。
