This things is awesome!! My glass table had a small plastic insert to protect the glass, but after a few years it cracked and I had to put foam tape around the umbrella pole. It looked awful!! I stumbled upon this nifty little item by accident while looking for another unbrella and it's seriously the best purchase I've made in a long time. It doesn't look bad and it has saved my glass!!!Very happy with this purchase.

In my first attempt to install the cone and umbrella in my table I first installed the cone into the table and with the cone in place I tried to slide the umbrella into the cone. That didn't work--the umbrella wouldn't slide into the cone. But I then removed the cone from the table and had no problem sliding the cone up the shaft of the umbrella. So with the cone already in place on the umbrella I dropped it into the table and Shazam! It works like a charm. It gives a snug fit into the table with just a little bit of the cone exposed on the tabletop. It is a very secure fit and there is no "wiggle room". The cone works as it is intended and when it is in place in the table the compressed cone holds the umbrella securely.This was a good solution to a problem that I had been living with for a long time.

Excellent product. . I purchased two, one for the umbrella hole in the patio table top proper, the other for the secondary umbrella hole in the lower patio table frame. Not only do the Umbrella Cones hold the umbrella securely in position, if you push down on the upper portion of the cone when the cone/umbrella are in place patio table hole(s) the cone shape acts like a collet and holds the umbrella in place. It will not rotate in a breeze, and you can select the height that you would like the umbrella pole to sit relative to the table top. We no longer need the twelve inch diameter umbrella base filled with sand under the patio table. I highly recommend this product. Designed and made in the USA by a company that specializes in off-road vehicle suspension system parts hence their ability to cast polyurethane components. I understand that existing patio table rings where as much an annoyance to the company owner as they where to me and he was able to do something about, design and make a better "mouse trap".

Most patio tables have a 2" diameter hole; mine has a diameter of 2.5", making it difficult to find a replacement umbrella/table guard. The Patio Umbrella Cone was a perfect solution. Inserting it into the hole the Cone dropped to the 3rd ring and was solidly installed. The umbrella (1.5" diameter) slide easily into the Cone and there is little side-to-side play in the umbrella/table assembly now.The Cone is made of heavy rubber, and there are no rough edges or seams.A very simple idea to solve a vexatious problem.Check the specifications before you buy - but if the Cone will fit your application I would recommend it.HTHRegards,Jim

This was the perfect addition to my patio table. It makes the umbrella so sturdy. Note to others, you may have to remove one of the rings around the hole on your table before this will work well for you. It looks attractive ... almost like a miniature vase.

I bought this (pricey) product, hoping it would solve our spinning patio umbrella issue; unfortunately it did not fit our 1.5" diameter umbrella pole (despite the description stating otherwise). Using WD-40 didn't even help...it was just too tight of a fit. Should have read the low-rated reviews too, not just the good ones. This will be returned, unfortunately.

I thought it was a bit pricey but the quality and design make it worthwhile. I used it without a table so not sure how it would work. This little gadget WORKS‼️ Just stick it in the umbrella base, step on it or use a mallet to lower it some. I thought it wouldn’t work because approximately 5 grooves are exposed and insertion is partial but it’s enough to keep it firmly in place. Whereas before just a breeze would blow my umbrellas literally over the roof to the front of my house now it stays secure. I’m delighted not to loose any more umbrellas and the ability to enjoy Florida sunshine softened by my umbrellas 👍🏻‼️

This works great in the small umbrella table we bought; much better than the piece that came with the table. It is sturdy and keeps the umbrella pole from moving around in the table. Take the advice given by another reviewer and put the cone on the umbrella pole before placing in the table. My husband wouldn't listen to me when I told him this and he found out the hard way that the pole won't go into the cone if you do it the other way around.
