Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones 700, with Alexa Voice Control, Silver (Renewed)

My team had to relocate from our main office building to a coworking space for one year, and this was the one purchase that I made for every member of the team. We had desks that were right next to each other without cubicle dividers, and I was amazed at how well these worked. The sound quality is excellent, but more imprtantly the microphones do a fantastic job of isolating the wearer during Teams calls. I would have someone sitting right next to me on a different call, and we never heard the other individual getting picked up by our headphones. The size and fit are both exellent and easily adjustable. We used the included usb adapter for easy connectivity, but I also use the bluetooth connection with my phone and laptop when I travel. These are great headphones. One thing that I did learn though is that if you are flying and the volume seems low, you need to use the touch volume controll on the right ear cup to increase the in-device volume. My other favorite travel hack is to pair these with an AirFly unit to get wireless audio on the airplane. I am very happy with the purchase and have since picked up an extra pair for my wife to use. We both love them.

My first NC700 in Soapstone had started burning and melted while it was charging in my car, so I thought I wouldn’t buy it anymore, but I couldn’t help but buy it again renewed as it had great quality. Still does, the sensitivity on the sides are very high though. Looks amazing

I recently bought refurbished Bose 700 NC headphones. The first impression when I got the package was of mistrust. The package I received from Amazon was an Amazon box with the headphones case in it, not with the original Bose package. The sound seems to have the standard Bose quality BUT when testing the noise-cancelling feature I realized it wasn't working on the left ear. Searching on the internet and also from the headphones technical sheet, I discovered that the holes for the microphones on the left earplug DON'T EXIST!!! (see the attached image). This headphones originally by design have multiple microphones on both earplugs, capturing the sound on different directions in order to cancel the outside noise. This is a completely scam, I know that they are refurbished but they should be the same as the original product. Also, the seller doesn't mention anything related to this issue.

These have worked perfectly!

You know, I thought I would like these, but they weren’t as great. I’m not sure if I had a bad set, but it glitches out sometimes. Otherwise they have good noise canceling and I used them frequently in college. If you wear glasses they do hurt after a while.

Better than AirPods max

So overall, the headphones themselves i really loved. I loved the way the "swipe" controls are designed. I loved the compactness. I do believe the sound was very good. The NC was probably very good too. "probably?" Yes probably. The one downfall to these is that the seal of the cans/earpads is JUST not there. So much so i coudln't tell how well the NC was (but it's reviewed as being one of the best everywhere so i trust that) b/c it was almost as if there was no seal on it and i could hear all around me. I bought these for some travel flights I recently had- and wanted the long lasting battery over the AirPod Pros. Unfortunately I could hear more than one ongoing conversations in the plane THE ENTIRE FLIGHT (especially the people behind me). I REALLY liked everything else about these and wanted to keep them (i've purchased two Bose QuiteComforts in my lifetime- but they seem flimsy and have both broken), but I just couldn't as i want NC for a reason- and it's not to feel like i have no NC and can hear all going around me during a flight. So when Costco had super advantageous pricing of the newest Bose QuiteComfort 45's, (about $180), I bought them just to compare them on my next flight to the 700's. I wasn't mislead. The 700s just don't provide ANY performitive seal to enjoy and have true NC. the Quiet Comforts were so much better at blocking out surrounding noise and provide an immersive experience during a flight. The QC's don't have as good of the "awareness" setting the 700 has (so you can purposely hear surroudning noise with NC- say if you're at a plane gate and waiting to hear for boarding announcements). SO NO, I didn't have these on the WRONG setting and just didn't realize it. it's just a bad can/earpad seal to block out noise coming in that way that leaves a lot to be desired here.

I received one pair of these (refurbished) and it simply would not connect to my phone at all -- even though both Bose and Samsung said they were compatible. Amazon shipped out a second refurbished pair and these are excellent! I always thought that this was the best looking of the Bose headphones and I am very happy to have them now. This pair connected immediately to the Bose app; and allowed me to dial in the settings that I wanted. I was able to download the product manual from the Bose site. This refurbished pair is in excellent condition and came with everything but the instruction manual. Great deal and very nice headphones. A cute touch: when these were connecting to my phone, the Bose site found them -- not as Bose 700, but "Bose Lovely".

In really good condition and working well. I've had black ones from new and can't notice any difference.

Looks 👨‍🎨 : 9/10 I would compare them to the apple air max, which is the best looking headphones. Quality 🦾 : 8/10 Overall great quality plastic few metal parts, I haven’t had them for a very long time so I can’t say if they will last long or not. Sound 🔊 : 9/10 Very great quality for Bluetooth headphones. The sound cancelling is amazing and helps a lot for the sound. Overall again I love these headphones to everyone, they can be a bit outdated in 2024 so I’d recommend getting them during a sale. That’s my review, Ciao 👋
