This Japanese Doorway Curtain is known as Noren in Japan. They are a short cotton or linen curtain hung in shops, homes and restaurants. Traditional noren are split down the center - allowing a person to pass through from one room to another and are traditionally used as door/doorway curtains. They can also be used as a cloth room divider, wall hanging, doorway curtain or a window curtain. These Noren make for an elegant entrance to any room and gives your house a Japanese touch.
