Best Tape Measure on market! And you get two?!?!
I have been looking all over for a tape measure that has all the features i want. Printed fractions, bottom finger break, top lock, wide blade, metric, printed decimals, nylon coating, long standout, magnetic front, belt clip, back loop. The closest i came before that was the milwaukee wide blade magnetic. the milwaukee does not have fractions, metric, and the nylon coating does not extend the entire blade. This tape measure has a bottom break, it is also more compact, it has all the milwaukee does (except magnetic ) plus fractions, full nylon, metric. The magnetic is nice if you need to pick up a screw you dropped and cant reach other than that its not that useful. And we have a back loop with a rope already installed so we dont need to do any unscrewing! You also get two of these for the cost. This makes it the best tape measure i own. Id they had a sexier logo on the front, we would really be going places. I love these tape measures i highly recommend them.

Fragile, thin tape self-destructs
I immediately fell in love with the retraction springs & tape locks on these 2 tape measures. However, after using for a mere 15 min, the autolock tape developed a kink which turned into a tear & became useless. After inspecting the tape itself I discovered that the metal is only 1/2 as thick as other tape measures I own. I have never had a tape measure that feels and acts like delicate paper. There is very little structural integrity with these tapes & so have no usefulness whatsoever, in my opinion. I was sad to see such a poor quality material used with such a high quality case & locking mechanism.

Do you like puns? How does this one measure up?
I needed a tape measure to measure things that one would find themselves needing to measure with a tape measure. I did a search. I read reviews. Not this one, though. It didn't exist at the time. But now it does, much to your benefit. For a reasonable price I received two nice, sturdy tape measures with the ability to measure in both metric and US customary units. I'm quite happy with them. And you should be too.Unless...You don't trust me.

Could be a 5 star product *updated*
I find the tape hard to read, its printed rather small. Also you can't do a 1 handed hook and measure movement. The tab on the measuring tape is flush with the end of the tape measure so you can't slide it across the edge of what your measuring, you have to grab the tape and hook it on to the edge yourself. That makes no sense, I can't think of a single measuring tape I've had that didn't have that. The lock seems to work great, and helpful also when retracting. I typically get the yellow or brightly colored tape measures because they seem to disappear as soon as I put them down. We've all been there. The lanyard is interesting, I'll try to use it but think I'll be removing it sooner than later. Good for the weekender, but not for the pro.**Updated**After trying to like these... I can no longer take them! The tape markings is SO SO hard to see in any low light, and most good light situations. I tossed these in to the trash where they belong. The marks are too faint and too thin to see. I went back to the Milwaukee brand and the markings are bold, highly visible and its all I use now. DO NOT BUY THESE if you wear glasses or do not have Superman vision. Seriously, they are useless if you can't see the markings. I uploaded a pic for comparison.

Just set it ... and forget it. or something
At first, I thought the value of the little button on the underside of the tape measure was more a redundancy. I've used dozens of tapes -- digital, laser assisted, and old-school slice your fingers if you let the tape reel in full-speed kinds -- and until this one came along my favorite was a milwaukee tape simply for the large numbers and that the metal ruler was exposed on the underside so you could easily hold a dimension without having to slide a lever that eventually fails because the parts wear out. But boy was I missing the point!Today, I was cutting some flooring on my chop saw. I drew the tape out a bit past my dimension, started to mark my line, and I noticed the tape didn't start to recoil. I hadn't employed the thumb lock, so I was expecting the case to slowly slide along in some sort of coefficient of friction to spring tension. But the tape didn't budge. I completely let go, making the universal "hands up when time's up" gesture you see on every cooking or crafting competition. It didn't budge. I picked up the tape housing, the hook end still engaged, drew out a few more inches, and set the case back down. Did the hands up gesture again. Didn't budge. I slid the material the tape was resting on and the whole thing moved as one unit. No sneaky case sliding because the thumb lock was only kinda engaged. Its like this thing was glued to my board. Eureka! The button is depressed simply by placing the tape measure on a flat surface and letting gravity do what it does. That redundant button on the bottom of the tape case is now may favorite shop addition and I've got one of those Shaper Origin CNC Routers (and that's pretty cool!). Even if you don't NEED a new tape, I highly recommend this one. It stays in place with zero effort, has clear labels in eight inch increments (which I find helpful, 'cuz I can't tell you how many times I've had to hit something like 11/32), has metric units of the under side, its reasonably priced ... on a per item basis.Anyway, I'm super glad I got this one. Now I better quit yackin'. I've got some flooring to do.

Just What The Carpenter Needed...
My Husband received this pack of four for his 60th Birthday from my/his sister ....He Loves Them. He received all 4✅. He took one to work, he has one in his shed tool box, one in his indoor tool box. The last he has in the cupboard just incase he loses one of the others. He said they are awesome quality and, smooth they don’t twist and bend like others. No kinking just beauties...and easy to lock and unlock...Thank You Brenn😘..And of Course Thank You LEXIVON for a great worth owning usable Tape Measure. Quality Counts Big Time..

Cheap, but you get 2
Cheap but you get 2Easily kinks, easily gets a Knick in the blade then you end up ripping it right away.Only nice thing is the break button on the bottom to slow down the tape coming back at you.,locks and holds.Decent tape if it wasn’t tearing in half so easily or folding/rolling over as you stand it out to measure from even 6 feet awayAlso like the tape as it works with this knife I got to hook it and can slide drywall very accurately and straight with it

Its ok Just Don't Get it Wet
The tape measure was fine at first, the standoff was a little weak, 6.5' standoff. I liked the retraction speed, but the very first week it got a little wet from the rain, and it was done. Wouldn't retract all the way in, the paint on the underside flaked off like no tomorrow, simply deemed garbage from that point on. Wont be buying these again

Great Quality with one flaw
These tape measures seemed to have great quality but they have one significant flaw. The hook was loose and wiggled around around an 1/8th of an inch. If you are measuring anything and an eighth of inch is important, don't get these. I thought it might be just a bad batch that I ordered so I ordered again, the second order had the same flaw.

good for the price
there are many good things about this tape measure 1 easy to read 2. SAE and metric. 3 measurements on both sides of the tape. 4 dual locking. 5 rugged well built construction. The biggest draw back is the tape thickness, the standout is poor and flimsy vrery frustrating when trying measure on ladders or sideways surfaces. this is a good tape measure over all if your working on the ground, but not for trades like framing, roofing, drywall, siding ect.
