Tredoni 1.6 inch Pastry Wheel - Stainless Steel Dough Stamp Cutter/Crimper

I needed to make a cheese and sausage tray. And since I work with food. I wanted to elevate how it would look! So I used this to fancy up the cheese and sausage. And done so also when making a cherry pie (strips of dough for top)! Looks so pretty. The dough doesn’t stick to the wheel. It cuts in nice clean slices or what ever you’re going to do with it. Has a great wheel bearing in the wheel, meaning it will last a long time…again QUALITY!!

recently purchased the Tredoni 1.6" Pastry Wheel, and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen. I took a pasta class and this tool we required. I haven’t quite figured out how to use it in the best manner but so far I’ve used the edges to crimp ravioli and create wavy edges. It is not sharp, I had assumed it would be more like a pizza cutter sharpness but definitely was a thicker edge. It works well now that I understand how to use it, and the cost seemed good in comparison to others. The handle is wood, and has a solid feel. Don’t make the mistake of putting this in the dishwasher - it will strip the finish on the handle. Overall, this is a great addition to my kitchen!

Very thin wheel which seals and cuts at the same time. May work well with dough but I wanted it to seal flour tortillas for empanadas. Need a wider wheel for that.

Nicely made item. Does a very good job of sealing the edge of pies , pasties etc if like me pastry work is not your strong suit it provides good finishing touch
