Great value, I have added these to several boats. Blue Sea Systems has not let me down, very happy with the quality.

My boat needed two for various charging 12 volt radios, TV, portable refrigerator. Note on left I put each one on required fuse sizes for handy replacement. These are extremely well made and also added in Engine room for portable refrigerator. So, all three are perfect and highly recommend. Easy to install look great.

Great build quality but some things to note. (I purchased the USB charger version and the physical specifications are identical.) The fitting hole should be 1-1/8 inches or 29mm diameter but simply drilling the hole and bolting it down may still allow the device to freely rotate if the rear mounted bolt should loosen. The device has two flat cut-outs along the cylindrical body as seen in the pictures. I had to cut the exact shape, a 1-1/8 inch near-circle with an uncut flat top and bottom to prevent rotation. Quite a pain... The supplied bezel only caps the device from the front and does not prevent said rotation. It must be fastened via 2 screws to your panel. It makes the installation a little more presentable and adds some protection from sea spray. (Bezel installation is optional.) 1/4 inch, I think, tab connectors take crimp spades.

Put this on my ancient four wheeler to have an easy way to use stuff like a portable tire inflator. Used to work on firetrucks and we used Blue Sea products there, they are very well designed and built, but won't break the bank either! With this being completely exposed to the elements front AND back, I did decide to put some grease on the contacts inside just to make absolutely sure that they wont corrode, as the back of the socket is not totally water proof. Overall this works great, is reasonably priced, and is just about the best 12v outlet you can buy.

I bought this for use with a Dometic 12V refrigerator/freezer. Sometimes these 12V receptacles can be a little sketchy with how well the plug fits this one isn't. The Dometic pug fit well, looks like it's going to stay put. The receptacle itself has two different mounting choices; either use the two bolt flange or just drill the correct size hole and use the nut on the back of the receptacle itself- useful if you have hole to large to use the nut method. The connections for the receptacle itself are marked and take standard blade connectors. Overall, a solid piece.

Easy to fit, very solid construction and should last for many years. I have fitted this in the boot of my Jaguar X-Type to provide an additional power source for a 12v fridge when going out for the day and it is perfect for the task.

Still working after all the abuse and contortions I had to put it through to install it how I wanted.

Ich bin mit allen Artikeln von Blue Sea Systems bisher sehr zufrieden. Material und Verarbeitung wirken wertig und in der praktischen Anwendung gab es bislang keine Probleme. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
