Microflex 93-260 Nitrile and Neoprene Gloves - Disposable, Chemical Resistant, Size Medium (Pack of 50)

My original review (very positive, 5-stars) was "hidden for sensitivity issues", for reasons I cannot begin to understand. I don't know what the sensitivity monitors are using for such criteria, but there was nothing controversial or otherwise in my review. Perhaps because I mentioned a specific manufacturer in comparison to this product (I scrubbed that). Perhaps it was the fact the color of those 9 mil gloves is something you can't mention these days (?). Or perhaps my positive review might influence you to buy and horde this product during the pandemic. Who knows. Here's what's left of the original review... it really doesn't change the ultimate message. I’ve used several brands of nitrile gloves over the years. These are far superior to any other glove I’ve used to date. The only thing some might find problematic is these do insulate you from some 'feel' (subjectively), but I never found this to be an issue for what I use them for. These are incredibly strong, very flexible, comfortable and easy to put on and take off, even when your hands are sweaty. The two most notable qualities that make these far superior to other gloves are the resistance to tears/failure and how easy these are to put on when your hands are sweaty. I’ve used a brand of gloves sold at a popular (cheap) tool store (9 mil gloves) for years, and those failed at a minimum rate of 15-20%. Previously, those were the most durable gloves I have used. When wrenching on my cars, I might get 15 minutes of use out of the dominant hand glove before a failure. Then you have to take a break, thoroughly dry your hand and struggle putting on a replacement glove. I have not had one failure of these gloves to date - no matter how hard I've used them. The aforementioned HF 9 mil gloves were previously the “best” gloves I’ve used, until I found these in a search for ANY available non-latex gloves (PPE shortages) and since HF hasn’t had any in stock for almost 2 months. The HF gloves are less expensive, but are significantly lower in quality and in capability. These gloves are well worth the additional cost. I just bought a second, and then a third box. Outstanding gloves!

If you work in a laboratory, as I do, or otherwise work with toxic or harsh materials (commercial cleaning products, commercial dishwashing, lead or cadmium metal casting or reloading, industrial painting/adhesives, fuels, pesticides, art chemicals, electronics chemicals, etc) you'll not find better light duty protective gloves than these. Neoprene/nitrile gloves are far superior to the nitrile gloves that are widely sold in big box stores and here on Amazon, as you'll immediately feel if you work with such materials as acetone, MEK, nitric acid, metallic lead, and many others. Nitrile gloves are often sufficient if you're cooking or working in the garage with cleaning products, but mixing pesticides, blending epoxies, handling racing fuels, ammunition reloading, applying pool chemicals and many other tasks that expose non-chemists to materials that can be dangerous if ingested, splashed, or absorbed need a more secure barrier membrane covering your skin. These neoprene/nitrile gloves will be ideal in most situations except those that almost always occur exclusively in strictly controlled environments (laboratory glove boxes, mixing restricted pesticides, etc, where expensive multilayered or butyl gloves must be used). I used the lighter-duty gloves here for years in the lab, but I realized that they're great for household use too. These neoprene/nitrile gloves are very comfortable and highly reusable (in the kitchen, I've had a pair last through at least 6 or 7 uses). I think every household having an active gardener, diy'er, midnight engineer, or person with pastimes that require extra knowledge, cost, and just a bit more risk, should have a box of these Microflex gloves ready at hand.

I'm posting this for people who are using around the house, not for industrial, mechanical, tattoing, etc. I also purchase Framar Midnight Mitts Black Nitrile Gloves, 12-INCH and have will not be geting them until about 7/15. I will post a review about them when I do and compare them to these. I use vinyl/nitrile gloves of varying thicknesses and have tried many suppliers on Amazon. This is my first time trying Microflex because they are normally out of my desired price range. I am a caretaker who needs heavier 12 inch 6mil or thicker gloves I can use for housework, dishes, taking care of an incontinent elderly person, moving and packing up stuff in prep for moving, and other medium duty work that your basic 3-4mil nitrile/vinyl gloves won't quite hold up to. I go through these longer gloves too quickly to afford buying latex dish gloves, even if I can get them for $1/pair. I also won't re-use gloves after handling bodily fluids and the like. I have average size man hands - 7.25" from tip of index finger to first crease in wrist, and 3.5" wide. That puts my right at line between Medium and Large, so I expected these to be snug and they are. They will stretch some, not as much as the GlovesPlus nitrile gloves I mentioned. HOWEVER, the cuffs don't slide back down or fold over like almost all of the other nitrile and vinyl gloves I've used regardless of length and thickness. Also, won't use gloves that have a chemical or soapy residue on them. I have not noticed that with these gloves. These are the first gloves I feel comfortable with washing multiple times and continuing to use instead of replacing with a fresh pair. Definitely getting more mileage for my money. The will also hold up to 1hr+ of scrubbing dishes. I am really I came across these and took a chance since the gloves I usually get are either unavailable or 3X as expensive (even Ammex and GlovesPlus are doing this!). I'm happy so far, and will post update after I give them a workout for a few weeks IF I FEEL DIFFERENTLY.

I have been looking for this for a long time. I used once and fell in love. I will continue buying. Very good quality. I only regret that it isn't 100 instead of 50

Glove's quality is good. They are durable and long lasting, but I find it expensive.

I do a lot of auto body or greasy engine work and have typically used the heavy duty gloves from Home Depot and Hobo Freight, but they tear easy with use or break down so quickly when I use chemicals like acetone. Got fed up and went on the look out for some gloves that could at lead handle chemical such as acetone… I believe I found them with these Ansell gloves! These are the BEST gloves I ever used, very thick, flexible/stretchable and I used one pair for the whole day! They are a bit more in cost but do yourself a favor and have a box of these for when you need heavy duty use.

I have been searching locally for this brand of gloves for a long time. These are the strongest “disposable” gloves I have ever used. I’ve even tried some 8ml gloves from Amazon that just don’t compare. I am able to reuse these gloves over and over the majority of the time. They are more expensive than most but their longevity makes up for that minor detail. As my momma says, “you get what you pay for!” They do run a bit small so measure appropriately. I find a bit of powder makes them much easier to put on and makes the fit even more comfortable for long term use.

I use these for stripping furniture with citristrip. I have not tried them with the old-school melt your skin off Jasco. I use them for cleaning up with mineral spirits and when pouring lawn chemicals. I haven't had an issue with breakthrough after 45-minutes of continuous use, but I make sure I throw them away and get a new pair after one use.

Fantastic gloves for chemical lab usage. I have used this for toxic and corrosive chemicals and every time it worked as promised. Quality is top notch.

Good gloves 👍 I use them for UV inks which can dissolve almost any gloves.

Son muy útiles para trabajos de colorimetría, al ser delgados permiten trabajar muy cómodamente pero a la vez no se rompen ni se dañan con los decolorantes o peróxidos. Lo que más me gustó es que son reusables y un solo par me ha durado meses, trabajando con ellos incluso Alisados.

These gloves tore off when used for handeling UV ink. They are very thin. Not useful.
