How is the packaging? Is he exposed or is there plastic covering around him?

It was in a clear plastic bag with a hole cut out for the nose but the bag is too big so the nose didn’t stay within the hole. It could have been packaged better. I got this packed in a box with other items.

Why are there holes going up and down the back of his arms and legs?

I talked to my Granddaughter about this, it was a gift for her for Christmas. She is 11 and immediately said " of course he has holes, it makes it so you can move his arms and legs"! So there you have it!
