Field Notes - Workshop Companion

The Workshop Companion is an excellent addition to my workstation. I've been carrying a different edition of Field Notes daily in my pocket with a small pen and I've been getting a lot of use out of it. I especially noticed I was using the memo book when I was working at my workbench. I figured if I was going to keep taking notes there, I should get a dedicated book for that area.That's when I came across the Workshop Companion. I love the idea of having color coded memo books for different subjects. I can grab the one I need quickly and take or review notes. So far, I've filled up each one about 25% with reference material and tips & tricks. They sit proudly in the hard cover box on my workbench.The stickers are a nice touch. I could see someone sticking them on individual toolboxes for the subject each sticker represents, but I didn't have a use for them as I don't have enough tools to warrant dedicated toolboxes for different jobs, and there is a lot of crossover with the same tools used for different jobs. I ended up giving the sticker set to my 5-year-old who also likes to play with tools and help me out with projects around the house.

Well made, great size, consistent quality - all I expect of a "pocket size" notebook.

This is such a great idea. I love Field Notes anyway, this was just the icing on the cake. I dropped these in my toolbox and I am never without my notes now!
