Invincible Volume 19: The War At Home (Invincible, 19) Paperback – Illustrated, March 11, 2014

I still can't believe Invincible isn't as popular as it deserves to be, it truly baffles me.Some crazy stuff goes down in this volume, i won't go into details to avoid spoilers, but wow!! I can't wait for the next volume. But major kudos to Robert Kirkman for crafting a great story and to the art team, especially Ryan Ottley - that man has immense talent.My favorite part about this comic book (besides everything) is that there are so many interweaving plot threads and so many characters, yet everything is fully developed; its amazing.If you love this series as much as I do, tell people about its greatness - get the word out!!And those of you who haven't begun to read Invincible, DO IT! its unlike any superhero comic book out there, its the best in the business.

Invincible is an anomaly to me, I usually dont like the robert kirkmann stuff. Ive never gotten into Brit Walking dead or battle pope. I started to read Invincible because of the art. I started with volume 1 and on and the comic flourishes in great storytelling and amazing art by the young Ryan Ottley. I am happy to say that volume 19 is as good as the rest, if not better. menacing old villains return and new villains appear, just as Invincible and Eve battle with having a baby. If you havent read previous arcs wait off on this one so you can fully understand whats going on. To finish off Im gonna talk minor spoilers they will be in caps. I DONT LIKE HOW OMNIMAN BANISHES THRAGG FROM THE VILTRUMITE WARSHIP, HES JUST GONNA CREATE HAVOC. OMNIMAN IS SHOWN TO BE A SMART CHARACTER SO WHY IS HE ACTING NAIVE. I KNOW HE WANTS A PEACEFUL VILTRUMITE SOCIETY BUT CANT HE JUST LOCK THRAGG AWAY?

A great continuation of the story. I can't say enough good things about this comic.

Wow, the events that occur really keep you begging for more. The transformation of the characters keeps your interest. I look forward to the next volume.
