- Venetian Gradual Color Extender Lotion, 8.5 fl oz

GIRL I wanna gatekeep this product so I’m shouting off the rooftops here. The video is this product. Natural, beautiful, not dry. This ISN'T even with lotion on. The photo of my feet is with bondi sands dark 1 hour express. NOT for fair pinky girls. It’s for those that have an olive skin tone or a base tan. When that developed, I was a walking orange and it faded nastyyyy and dry. If you have dry skin, that product made you look worse than you did before you even put it on. This product goes on amazing. I use a little brush for my hands, feet, and neck and it blends seamlessly. No more orange knuckles. It’s thick, so your first application will be a learning curve. You’re gonna get frustrated that it’s not blending the way you want it to. But be PATIENT. keep rubbing, it will. Prep properly. I do not apply with a mitt, and I don’t even think I’d recommend that due to the thickness of this product. I use my bare hands and clean palms, sides of fingers with a makeup wipe and dry. However, I will be switching to a surgical glove when I have my nails done. You don’t need to wash it off after the timeframe, but I do as I would a regular tanner. I even left this on for two hours the first time due to being afraid I’d turn orange again but it brought me a nice life-like color just from two hours. When you’re rubbing it in, you can see the pink hues in it for us paper girls. This is made for us to work well and look natural. This should be treated more as a self tanner than a gradual tanner due to the color. One application and you’re at the result most aim for. But it’s great that you can layer a couple days in between to keep it with light exfoliation and hydration. I also struggled with getting my chest and neck to tan and not be patchy with others. This doesn’t cause that issue. I start with my chest area, then calves, thighs, stomach, back, arms, neck, feet, then hands. Perfect for 8pm application after you’re winding down, wait for it to dry, put on loose clothes, go to bed and wake up to rinse and go. By the end of the day, it’s fully developed and beautiful. Lotion when you get home. So far I have zero cons to this or product except if you constantly wash your hands/wrists and don’t moisturize after, the wrist area can get patchy and hands to lose the product. Overall, YES.

God what an amazing product. Basically a spray tan in a bottle. I was so nervous and skeptical because it comes out of the bottle DARK, so probably not worth getting the mit for this one. I put it on about 90 minutes before bed, and there was basically no transfer to the sheets at all. Even when I washed it off with my morning shower the next day, I was left with a beautiful glowing tan that wasn’t orange at all and no streaky marks. For how dark it is, I can’t believe it’s so forgiving. Also because of the color, you can tell what areas you applied unevenly and fix it when it’s still fresh/wet, so it’s easy to make sure it’s applied evenly.

The most amazing self tanner. I don’t usually leave reviews. But this is the only self tanner that hasn’t left that terrible “freckling” look when it’s wearing off.. I do still moisturize with regular lotion daily. But I did that with all the others also and this one the only one that still looked great till the end.. color is amazing also.

I don't write a ton of reviews but this stuff is amazing! I am naturally tan but pale right now and wanted tan legs/arms for my Disney trip. I did an application 3 days before my trip and didn't notice a difference so I did a 2nd one, it was a nice glow but I wanted a tan so I did a third application and it gave me a great natural dark tan. It was a little sticky so I put on some powder and that helped. There was a light scent but not as bad as typical tanner. It did not transfer to my white sheets at all. It lasted my whole trip (4days) I showered and shaved everyday. It faded evenly without any patches and a week later I still feel like I have a slight tan from it!

Produces a good tan, although you have to keep it on about 24 hours before washing. I had a major sweating affair and the brown made me look like I was melting. So make sure you stay dry and cool while you let it simmer lol.

I really like this stuff. It doesn’t smell bad. It kinda smells like one of those expensive lotions we used to use in the tanning bed in the 00’s lol and it was super easy to use. Way darker than I was expecting but a nice color. I didn’t know you were supposed to prep skin so I didn’t and it still turned out nice. I did use a mit. It’s not streaky or patchy. I’m glad I found this because I feel like it’s a little easier than the foam. It got on my clothes a little while I was sleeping but all tan does that. So I’m not mad. I would recommend.

I have been using tanner since I was 12, I’m not kidding when I tell you I have used almost every tanner you could think of. I have learned a lot along the way. I recently have been obsessed with ST. Tropez classic self bronzing lotion for a min. I use that to extend my mousse tanner I use Bondi sands (something cheap) I also use the st tropez as a bronzing face lotion to match my tanner. I really can’t be dishing out 45$ a month or every other month on the lotion so I needed to find an alternative that was tinted. You’d be surprised how many non tinted tanners over shadow the tinted. That has literally been all there used to be. Anyways, this tanner is gorgeous it does leave a teeny hint of orange but only if you’re actually standing next to someone pale -like my bf, you also have to note my undertone is fair-light with pink undertones, there’s only like 1-2 online tanners I can get that won’t turn me some shade of orange. It doesn’t bother me. I really wasnt expecting this to develop so dark on my skin, I am so impressed. It definitely developed darker than the st tropez and I can use this in lieu of my mousses instead of an extender. Very happy with this and the price

This is the Best, Ultimate Tanning Lotion company!! And, this is by Far the Best solution. It's conveniently packaged and when used with the mitt, works absolute wonders!! It bronzes instantly and the color continues to get deeper as you wear it. I do have to say that I wish it would be available in a larger unit. I go through this one in about a month's time on average. And, I also have to say it is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. I've tried other tanners and they pale in comparison. They fade unevenly and make it appear as if you have a skin disorder. They're not worth it. This is the only tanning lotion I will use anymore. And, if I can't afford it for a time then yes, I will be pale. I won't waste good money on other junky products. Buy this now, if you want to really look tan really quickly and naturally!!

I am as pale as this website page, with a hint of yellow (think pale af Spanish influence).... normally fake tans turn me orange or a horrible sallow colour. Not this one! Perfect every time! Very important to scrub and moisturise a few days leading up to the tan, or the bronzer will sort of stick in your skin too much. Goes on lovely with a mit, and I do my face with a stippling brush. Don't be afraid of the chocolate mousse appearance. Leave it on overnight and wash off in the morning, bronzer goes down the drain leaving a lovely, reddish brown light tan. Lasts about 8 days on me. I used to use popular lotion tanners ahem... rhyms with "love".... not any more!

I have tried countless self tanners and wasted so much money trying to find one that works for me and that doesn’t come out some shade of orange. I very rarely leave reviews but the other reviews for this product convinced me to try it and I’m so glad I did! I put it on a week ago and it came out a gorgeous natural brown shade that just works perfectly for my skin tone. I’m naturally very pale and the buildable aspect of this lotion gives me better control over the shade I want to be. One application left overnight came out perfectly for me. Not too dark and not too light. It doesn’t transfer easily. I do notice a bit on my wash cloth when washing my face but nothing compared to other self tanners. I get colour for a good 7-10 days but I think it would be less if I shaved my legs (I wax). I will definitely be ordering again.

I love this brand. I use the liquid in a spray tan gun or a foaming pump & mitt depending on my mood. This helps extend the tan and keep it looking fresh for 7 + days. Best of all it has a violet undertone to cancel out orange tones. Also use it for a quick tan on its own!

Excellent product! Colour looks great. Takes a while to dry but I wouldn't knock a start off for that - I just plan my self tanning accordingly. Quite impressed by this product as a stand alone or as a self-tan extender!

24h later and this product is still sticky. It was an absolute nightmare trying to get this product to absorb and spread on my skin. Sticky, sticky, sticky mess. 2 stars because the colour is not orange and has minimal smell.
