Haven’t owned long enough to truly rate heat resistance but has preformed well so far. Interesting concept. Works great as a turner. It can chop but I’m more likely to grab a knife that’s right in front of me then use this for chopping. Good multi purpose tool though. Something I would definitely throw in for a camping trip due to the dual purpose. Was looking for a thin sturdy non stick compatible turner and this works great for what I purchased it for.

Design favors right handed use. I'd love a left handed one.

I first ran across the "Chopula" at a little kitchen store in North Carolina. I was so impressed with all the ways it can be used, I came back to Amazon and ordered another for myself and one each for my kids. I really do love how easy it is to get underneath fried eggs to flip them with this gadget. I had other spatulas but they always seemed too think or they were metal and couldn't use them on my non-stick pans. I find myself using it instead of a wooden spoon for a lot of things I stir on the stovetop. You can chop pounds of groundbeef with the side of it too. Nice product for sure!

great tool for the kitchen

This is an example of thinking outside the box. They have an unusual form on the handle that keeps your spatula from touching the counter. It’s light, made from nylon, and flexible. It has an edge to cut things with which is very handy. The only improvement that I can think of making would be to have some ferrous metal in the handle so it attaches to the magnetic bars that I have for knives and other kitchen implements.

I stumbled across these at a local cooking supply store and when it was time for a new one they didn’t have any in stock so I came to Amazon. So happy I found some because I was missing mine. I wish I knew how to describe these in a better way but I don’t so if you appreciate a good spatula give it a shot.

I received a blue spatula for Thanksgiving and LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. The handle is thin but comfortable, super sturdy, heat resistant, easy to clean (even on the over night lasagna build up) and loved the color. Bought the purple one and now going to try the spoons. Great product.

the kink in the handle means the counter doesn't get dirty... so smart.Its still strong enough to be a spatuala and the offset really does as it says and can chop up the ground beef perfectly. I love me a clever gizmo. No room in the kitchen drawers if it doesn't perform but this replaces the old spatula hands down

I have tried a LOT of spatulas and this is easily my favourite. The pad is flexible, but tough and it is useful for being able to 'chop' food, using the side of the blade. The small kink in the handle elevates the pad, so you can set it down on the counter while cooking, without leaving a smear of food/oil on the worksurface. It has been in the dishwasher countless times, with no ill effects. It is not the cheapest, but looks and performs great, so for me it represents value for money. I actually bought two, thinking i'd have one 'spare' for when the first one wore out, but there is no sign of that happening, so the spare is probably staying in the drawer for a long time yet....

I already had a chopula and wanted a second one as I often cook more than one meal at mealtimes due to different diets . I find it great for serving as it cuts into good as well as lifts . It’s particularly good for lasagne and dishes like shakshuka , crustless quiche, frittatas , Spanish omelettes etc . It just suits me perfectly.

We have brought a couple of these as we have found them to be very useful. Its flexibility makes it easy to get things out of pans and being silicone means that there is no damage to non-stick surfaces. The bent handle feature ensures once you have used it and put it down on a surface it does not leave behind a messy residue. An excellent product.

Flexible and easy to use .It is useful as you can slide it sideways under things as well as forwards.The flexiblity is super especially when I was using it to serve lasagne from a square dish.It slide easily under the first and subsequent helpings.I have used it whilst frying and it is versatile and resistant to heat so far.
