Quality product for the money.
One of our grandsons(12 yrs old) has been taking guitar lessons and really likes it. He has an electric guitar and what I am calling a regular guitar. He has a large amp for his electric guitar that was given to him by an uncle which stays in his bedroom and that's the only place he uses it. He has been wanting a small portable amp to take different places so he can use his electric guitar more often. His parents suggested that for his birthday we could get him a small amp so that's what we did and he loves it. He played for us and we were impressed by the quality of sound that came out of it. I am sure he will want something different as he gets older but for right now this is perfect for him.

Came a week early, perfect condition, sounds good
It came a week early, very happy about that. When I first plugged my bass in there was a bit of static and some pops, but after I adjusted my guitar, and some of the amp settings, the quality improved imensly. I plugged in my 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter so i could listen in on my headohones and it sounded pretty good. Im just an amature and this is my first amp so I can't really compare much but from what I've hear it's pretty good. Color is as shown, and it's loud enough to hear it clearly but not loud enough to hear from a few rooms away, it's probably much louder with an electric guitar. But overall I'm happy with my purchase, and it plugs into the wall if you're wondering.

Works fine but too tinny
I only wished it had a little more bass, but I think that because of the speaker size. I bought this to combine my MIDI tone generator and a small preamp to the size. I was able to open the back of it and there was plenty of room inside to mount a USB power supply and a wall-wart type transformer. It has an internal fuse on the transformer. I didn't really care much about the "drive" circuit, I think that's more for guitar distortion - so I can't say much about it except that it is an in/out switch. I'm using this for a Yamaha WX-5 Wind Controller and a VL70-m midi tone generator. WIth as much preamps and other things that plug into amps going USB, I think that a USB power jack would be a handy thing to add.

If you treat it right, it’ll take you a long way.
This tiny little amp is okay but has a few minor defects. To start with, the little dials are kind of messed up. The bass dial works okay, but the treble is not responsive at all and the gain only works at max. You have to play around with the volume to get the drive to sound good; from what I see, turning up your guitar and turning down your amp is the best combination. The main problem I got from this was that on the back, where the cable is, is not well made. The wood it is screwed into is little more than cardboard. Because of this the holes where the screws are tend to strip the wood and pull out. A little hot glue can fix this, but during the shipping of my amp the large metal transformer broke off and disconnected the speaker cables. The hole when you plug in your cable is a little flimsy, so you got to be careful when connecting your cable. The finish isn’t very good quality but I haven’t had any problems yet. These are all easy fixes, but it is still a bother if you are unwilling. IN CONCLUSION... If you are willing to put up with a few minor defects, this amp is a great choice if you are willing to pour into it.

DO NOT BUY. WISH I COULD RATE IT AT ZERO STARS
First arrived Dead on Arrival. Sent it back for a refund and mysteriously a second one arrived a day later. This one at least worked. Bought this as a starter amp for my Grandson, so I plugged it in to try it out before I gave it to him. WOW, what a piece of crap. Clean tone was terrible and the drive was even worse. I know it wasn't because of a cheap guitar being plugged in. I tried it with my PRS 408, Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Stratocaster. It is terrible even for the cheap price. I returned it and went to Guitar Center and bought a Fender Frontman 10 for about $30.00 dollars more. Now that is a good beginners amp or practice amp for home. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this amp

Great for a beginner or even just a practice amp in a small room.
Its not that loud but i was shocked by sound quality . I own several high end guitar amps , got this for the kids squire mini strat . The clean channel sounds crisp and clear and gain has plenty of grit and sounds good . Not alot of options for a 50 dollar amp so i think its a good buy there are more expensive amps from guitar center that dont sound as good as this . Not the loudest but perfect for rockin in bedroom . Even at full volume it still sound good . Lightweight so easy for child to move . Only complaint is no ground on plug and cord is thin but still sounds great

Great camp for beginners but The quality of this amps performance is also based on the quality of your guitar, I have a bass guitar that’s from ateri, It cost me around $90 and in all honesty when it was paired with this amp the quality of sound and the volume that the amp was outputting was terrible although if it was paired with a namebrand guitar such as Mitchell, fender, Jackson, or a Yamaha then I would definitely recommend this space due to the increase quality of volume and sound for this app but only if it would be used for practicing and not actually playing for a band with a loud set of drums in the background that would probably be so loud that the crowd would not be able to hear your guitar Aside from this speculation, this would be a great amp in use for practice

No voltage declaration on specifications
Needed to return because of 110 volts power, cannot use directly here in UAE because we have 220 volts here. And please put in the items description also the volts of the amplifier so there is no waste of time to the customer and from the amazon service worker.

Great little thing
The guitar amp was delivered on time. I actually ordered 2 of them. For a 20 watt amp, this thing works miracles. I especially like the overdrive button that allows you to have a very fuzzy sound which is quite cool. Without the overdrive the sound is alright as well. I have used it as well with a bass on approximately 2 or 3 on a scale of 10 and it works very, crisp sound. A word of caution however as it is not recommended to use a bass on a guitar amp at the maximum sound as you are liable to bust the speaker ? But at that price, it compares very well to my old 40 watt amp. Would buy again for sure !

Doesn’t work
It suddenly started smoking and lost power the first time I plugged it in . Not nice waste of money!
