TOPWIT 2.0L Stainless Steel Electric Kettle, Rapid Boiling Hot Water Kettle

I purchased this glass hot water kettle on February 1, 2025, and my family has been using it every day since. We absolutely love it! I also decided to wait about a year before writing this review to see how it would hold up over time. *After daily, continuous use, it has proven to be reliable and durable* It is very easy to fill thanks to the wide opening at the top. I recommend following the instructions and running a few boiling cycles after unpacking to clean it properly. The blue glow is a nice touch, especially in the evening when it is darker. It looks really beautiful while the water is boiling. The kettle heats up quickly and is very simple to use. You can see the water start heating almost immediately, and once it reaches a boil, it shuts off automatically. There is nothing you need to do beyond pouring the water. *One interesting feature* is that if you lift the kettle while it is on, the ON button does not reset. When you place it back on the base, it continues heating the water. With other kettles I have used, lifting them would reset the button and the kettle would turn off. Some may find this annoying, while others will find it convenient. It really depends on what you are used to. I use filtered water at home, so the taste is clean, with no strange odor or flavor. With other kettles, I sometimes noticed a plastic taste, but not with this one. If small spots appear at the bottom, using white vinegar works well. I usually boil it with vinegar and then rinse it a few times with cold water. Overall, this is a great product, and I definitely recommend it!

I really love this electric kettle! It heats up the water quickly and is very easy to use. The design is simple and modern, and it doesn’t take up much space on the counter. It works great and feels like good quality for the price. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it!

I bought this as part of a gift for my mother-in-law. A snack basket that included hot cocoa and chia tea mixes were included. This pot is the perfect size, heats quickly and features an automatic shut off when it reaches temperature (which was an important safety feature for me). It also looks good on had counter and was a great value. She loves it and I am thinking of upgrading my smaller goose neck kettle to this one.

What we like: large opening allows for the hand to go in for cleaning. Clean design. Not so nice: cord is short, lid plastic looks a bit cheap, blue light is faint. Performs well otherwise.

Have had this kettle for nearly 3 years now, it gets used almost every day 4 or 5 times (we are avid tea fans) and it is still going strong and looks good. Usually our kettles only lasted about 9 to 12 months with that kind of use, the cut off switch at the top of the kettle is important (the previous kettles had the switch near the bottom and that was what would always fail). Was so impressed with this we brought a spare just in case they stopped making it

I've been using the kettle for 3-4 months only and it is already smelling like plastic. I was mainly using it for cooking so I didn't notice much before. Yesterday, I was preparing tea, and noticed that the tea smells like dusty/plasticky. So I tried to heat up another batch of water to check, turns out it is coming from the kettle. The lid is made of cheap plastic that starts degrading as you use it, which really defeats the purpose of purchasing a glass kettle thinking that it is safer and healthier. I absolutely don't recommend!

Works great and still going strong

I love this! I received mine yesturday and was so excited! It was so easy to fill because of the nice big top! I did 2 boiling cycles as directed to clean out impurities even though i did wash it out straight from unpacking. I even turned out the light to see the pretty blue glow and it was super cute! The blue color with the boiling, rolling water was gorgeous! It took about 2 min once i got the kettle on the base, which is so easy my 6 yr old put it there..im on crutches so i couldnt carry it from the sink lol! As soon as we clicked it on..u could see the water already getting hot..didnt even take 2.5 secs...as soon as the water got to the boiling temp it needed, it did shut right off on its own. The blue light clicked off and the kettle turned off..i had to do nothing but pour. No funny taste, only clear, clean, hot boiling water ready for use! Amazing product! I did notice the lil spots on the bottom but im going to let it sit in the white vinegar for about 30 to an hour and that wont be in there anymore when i pour it out! Def recommend this kettle!

Alles wie beschrienen, erwärmt schnell das Wasser und ist recht leise dabei.

Can be used upstairs so no need to go downstairs to make the morning cuppa. Neat and good pourer. No complaints at the moment.

I don't don't know what to do. It took a long time to arrive, but I wasn't in the country so when I arrived and opened the box to use it, the plug was for America and it didn't fit the India standard plug.

Bonita tetera, Moderna, fácil de usar. Bastante rápida pata hervir... Pero justo have un año las compre y justo se descompuso y ya no quiso prender. Bastante cara pata que te de solo un año de uso. Y ni como reclamar o pedir garantía.
