So great
I buy a case every month. I'm just not up for cooking my own beans from scratch. They are beans in a can, and I'm old enough not to expect miracles. But with herbs and spices, and hot sauce. you can make canned beans taste great. I even make dips, bean-and-cheese tacos 🌮, and burritos Bless

Just a pantry staple for me. Seems to last forever, have never had the contents go funky if I forgot about a can in the back of cupboard. I use refried beans in burritos, tacos, as a side, the usual thing. Sometimes I season it, but really not too often. I happen to like it as is. I am not picky about brands, but I do like Old Elpaso products and the price in a case was quite reasonable over the price of a single can in store. Take note of ingredients. I saw someone reference the "Traditional" as being vegetarian, when in fact it contains lard. Suppose it depends on what you consider vegetarian. The actual vegetarian option does not contain lard. Personally I prefer the added fat, but am good with any option. Somewhere in the description they use the term vegetarian on the Traditional, so just be mindful of this. Ingredients: Cooked Pinto Beans, Water. Contains 2% or less of: Salt, Tomato Paste, Sea Salt (potassium magnesium chloride, salt), Lard, Chili Pepper, Spice, Sugar, Hydrogenated Lard, Onion Powder, Natural Flavor, Garlic Powder.

Superior tasting product available by the case
Excellent product of long standing and I ordered the case for the convenience I wanted. As a shut in, not having to go shopping very often is really helpful and the brand name is solid and consistent.

Refried bean casserole anyone . . .
Fast delivery. Great taste. Old El Paso and Amazon came thru again. We love these beans in a baking dish, covered w/ shredded Mexican cheese and salsa baked on top. Enjoy!
