The app made installing this very easy, and then I was soon able to link it up with my google home. The integration works really well so I can now voice control my light when I would like to. Also the app that you use to control it has a good amount of options and makes it very easy to control the light to how you would like it. I was surprised by the amount of choice available, you have full control over pretty much any colour you would like, and also the amount of brightness, so you can have it as a low light, or much brighter. I am very happy with the quality of this product and it integrates really well.

I was a late adopter of smart bulbs and decided to try just the one to start with, inspired by trying to read in bed and the lamp light wasn't strong enough. Plodding in and out of bed to turn the "big" light on defeated the purpose of taking myself to bed to relax!!! Installation was easy; in fact, many of the reviews I had read gave some really great tips and I literally didn't need the instructions as I knew it was as easy as scanning the code, downloading Smartlife and from there, it was easy to connect to the Alexa app. I agree it would be nice to be able to activate some of the scenes by voice control as they are really quite good. Hopefully that will come. All in all, it wasn't long before I jut upgraded all my lights. Naming them simply i.e small lamp, big lamp, living room light etc was intuitive and so far flawless in execution. It has also brought out my creative side - it is impressive how different colours affect the texture and mood of a room, and then by a simple command you can just ask for "daylight". I have just about stopped saying "Abracadabra!" after each request! They're just brilliant.

I really love this device as its easy to install and great value for money. it has an app that is easy to use with a huge library of colours. the device it self is amazing however the app did have some limitations, for instance there isn't a slow rainbow effect that goes through all the colours with a smooth transition and if your an apple user its going to be very hard to use voice commands and you will have to set up each one, individually like changing the colour to red as you cant add it to apple the Homekit app but for android phones you can easily add it to Google Home and control it through there. overall this device is amazing and i haven't seen any problems within the 4 weeks i have been using it.

This type of smart lightbulb has been something I have been wanting to try out for many years and I finally cracked and made this purchase. It arrived very quickly and without issue, and considering I had no experience in setting one of these bulbs up I found the method to connect the bulb to the app very simple and easy to understand. Once all set up the bulb has 3 main features I swap between; white mode which is customisable to create whatever type of "normal" lighting you want e.g. a standard whiter light or a warmer yellow light. Colour mode which is a colour wheel that updates in real time to whatever colour you desire and both the white and colour modes allow for adjusting the saturation and brightness of the light in real time. There is also the scene mode which is a selection of options that have interesting presets, e.g. there are options for an automatically changing colour mode which recreates a disco, and others that are meant for ideal situations such as a mode to make the ideal light for reading. There is also a schedule mode but admittedly I have not yet tried that but I can imagine that others can vouch for that. There is also the option to have all smart bulbs connected to an Alexa and control them via that, unfortunately I do not own an Alexa and so I cannot comment on that functionality. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and I look forward to owning more of these bulbs and smart devices, just being able to adjust the ambience of a room without having to get up or mess around with various lamps makes this well worth it.

I was really surprised at how awesome this product is especially for what you’re paying. It’s not too expensive at all but does do what you would expect a much pricier product to do. The bulb is bright but not too much. It works lovely and the ambient lights you can have with the use of the app make this product a must have for any smart home enthusiast. You do need to install the app on your phone in order control the light but it’s very simple and does not take up too much space on your phone. It’s also imperative to ensure that your WiFi connection connects at a 2.4GHz frequency in order for the bulb to work and connect to your phone. This is simply achieved by switching your router on and off whilst connecting the smart bulb to the app. I personally love the fact that I can control the light bulb in another room and dim or change the colour of the light without actually having to be in the room. It’s clever and fun as well as convenient, especially since I have a newborn baby and sometimes it’s nice not having to physically walk in the room to switch lights on and off. The app can be downloaded on both android and iOS devices as I have tried both on my Apple phone and my husband’s Samsung. It’s a fantastic bit of tech if you want the smart home experience. Definitely recommend.

Spent 2 hours just trying to get the device to connect to my wi-fi, and it still doesn't even work. unlike literally any other device I've used this one has no capability of Bluetooth setup. Also only allows connection on a 2.4mhz frequency. Yep, they force you to downgrade your wireless connection because they haven't made the light bulb compatible with the 5mhz. I've changed all my wi-fi settings, and done every single step in the troubleshooting including chaning my encryption key type in my router, disabling mac address filters etc. All of this just to get a light bulb to work because they have designed the product so poorly. How can your average person fit this light bulb without understanding of a network? How would they find their router IP considering you didn't even give any info on what commands to run on the computer. Absolute terrible terrible product in terms of setting it up. Hopefully within the next few hours I'll be able to get it to actually work. Do your self a favour and buy a smart bulb that isn't absolutely incompatible with any modern router.

This one the best smart lights i would ever buy but it was vey hard to set up

Easy to use. Easy to install, both the app and the bulb as normal. Looks like a normal bulb. Can operate like the colour of your normal bulb, white or warm, but the nice thing is that you can control the brightness so you can dim the brightness to suit you, or you can choose one of the 8 preset scenes, some with static colour others with interactive flashing colours or or you can choose any colour you like with a touch of your finger from within the app. I haven't got Alexa but it works fine with my Google home mini and also from my Android phone with the Google assistant. Everything seems ok so far, the product is fine so more than likely I will order more for other rooms of my house too, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
