Underrated
Haven't used it yet but seems to be guaranteed to be good on the snow. Salewa never lets me down. Good grips on the hills & snow. My 8th Salewa boots so far from summer to winter boots & will be buying more again in the future if needed. Average to top of the brands quality but affordable value. An underrated brand to be honest. Will recommend.

B2 mountaineering boots
I have just received the boots (not even gone outside in them yet) I have tried them on and it feels like my foot is in a warm comfortable, vise my feet stay perfectly still I did go with advise on the internet that said go half a size up if you can the only other boot I've warn that felt this supportive, was a ski boots, but these are more comfortable but I wanted to put a review on here because I felt more info was needed on the boots there was only 1 other review about what these boots where like if you want any in-depth technical info go on the internet look on salewa’s website and youtube but this was more so you can see what they look like hope this helps

No breaking in pain
Straight out of the box these are like slippers, bought them to replace a pair of scarpa SL Activ which have taken chunks out of my heels, i have done numerous 10mile plus hikes in these and not 1 blister! Outstanding pair of boots! Go half a size up from your normal size. 👍👍👍

Great boot for scrambling & short walks. Lightweight construction means good feel...
I have had these boots for a couple of months now. Straight out of the box, they fit well and look smart. I am very happy with them and would definitely order them again. These boots are ideal as approach shoes, for low grade climbing or scrambling, for occasional walks and for going to the pub. I have narrow feet, so usually find Scarpa boots fit me best. However, the light weight of these boots and recommendations from peers made me give them a try. They come with two different insole fittings, allowing some adjustment for volume. The toe box is quite roomy, however the lacing system allows a good, tight fit to be achieved. Length-wise, they are a little longer than expected. I ordered size 45 and the length fit feels more like my Asics running shoes at size 46 (perfect for running). If I wanted a more secure fit (for more climbing thank walking), I would drop to a size 44. The sole is excellent. It’s a softer compound than the usual Vibram rubber, which will wear out quicker but gives excellent grip even on wet & oily surfaces. The tread profile and overall last depth is a lot thinner than you’d find on a full-on walking boot, which helps these boots feel very stable and gives excellent feel on rough terrain. The edges of the sole are quite stiff, which will make this boot (especially combined with the soft rubber) excellent for scrambling and low-grade climbing. Cushioning is minimal, more like an off-road trainer than a walking boot (these boots are a high-ankle version of a trainer, don’t forget), but I would say this is an easy trade-off for the positive feel and stability of these boots. Breathability is not as good as other goretex boots – again, this is more of a characteristic of the lightweight design than a flaw. However, they are very water-resistant and the tongue is fully sewn meaning that even if you do go paddling in them, you’re much less likey to find grit in your shoes as a result. I wouldn’t recommend these boots for multi-day walks, or even walking where weight is not an issue. For a heavier boot you will get more comfort, however if fast, light and connected is what you are after, these are definitely worth a try.

Very comfortable. My only criticism would be that they will ...
From the box they fitted very well. Very comfortable. My only criticism would be that they will be a great Spring / Summer boot but will lack warmth for the winter. I will be buying another pair of boots for the winter

Cool enough to rock in...
Just a fantastic boot that I bought for some off road mountain biking - they are brilliant on the bike, being slim profile, no heel clipping on the bike frame.. But they are also seriously good for walking in: light, tough, grippy, comfortable and cool to look at.. they get lots of positive comments, "what are those boots? They look great. They do, but its not all about the looks they perform brilliantly on the hill, on and off mountain bike.

Awesome quality, beaware sizeing
Perfect shoes for hiking aswell as work boots for operatives in military/police.. fit is awesome as it's supposed to be narrow to give you more control and stability...You can easily run in these if you get them in the right size. I ordered size 44 which was too big, so went for 43 which fits exactly the same as the 44 did.. I measured and they are exactly the same... Maybe a production error.. The are a bit long compared to my other similar boots.. IMO you better size down than up.
