Rubies Kids' Baby Shark Costume With Sound Chip

This item was a great value for the price (approx $15 at the time of this review). The speaker that plays the music is pretty low quality, and the material might be a little itchy. But at the end of the day, I would have paid more for this item, it’s a great value. My son usually wears between a 2T and 3T US sizes. We ordered this in “toddler” size. It fits him well and leaves a little room for growth. (Purchased in early May for 6-months away Halloween, I think it will still fit him then.) It wears like a onesie/body suit, with button-snaps. Although the material feels a little uncomfortable to the touch, it’s the sort of thing kids should wear OVER their regular clothes. I know a lot of people live where it’s pretty cold at Halloween...this could be worn perfectly over warm clothes, but you may want to consider ordering UP a size to accommodate bulky warm clothes. With that said, we live in the southeast US, and Halloween is usually still pretty warm. It’s hard to find kid costumes where they won’t collapse from heat stroke trying to trick or treat in them! This could easily be worn over a t-shirt and shorts, that’s what I LOVE about it! People in reviews complained about the music. Yes, it’s a low quality. And yes the batteries don’t last long, the description even says it only lasts 2 hours. But we’ve pressed the button that plays the music approximately ten times so far, and it still sounds the same. The description also says what kind of batteries it takes (three LR1130/AG10 batteries, they are the size of a shirt button). I bought those here on Amazon, 10 pack for $4, but we haven’t had to change the batteries yet. It’s easy for kids to walk around in, but it might hinder their ability to play with toys/sit on the floor, because it’s kinda bulky. My son loves Baby Shark and loves wearing his costume! I definitely recommend this item. 5/5 Stars

Very cute and our toddler loves it. Very cute to see him "chase his tail." Easy to put on and take off our almost 3 year old. Package says size SMALL is for 5-6 years old, but the Amazon description had said it ran small and recommended for 3T-4T. Definitely go with the Amazon description. Looks big coming out of the bag, but our toddler isn't even 3 yet and he can wear it (though it's a little baggy on him). I'd say the ideal age for size SMALL is maybe 3.5-4 years old, but clearly our averaged sized 2.75 year old can happily wear it as well. Note that it is 100% polyester and it says do not put into washing machine. Basically spot clean only. I'm sure gentle handwashing would be okay. It does come with a puck that can be put into a fold of one of the arm fins that can play music though we didn't try this yet.

The first thing that stood out to me was the adorable design of the costume. It perfectly captured the essence of the Baby Shark, with its vibrant colors and playful shark character. The sound clip plays the catchy Baby Shark song, and it has quickly become my child's favorite part of the costume. The sound clip is of high quality and plays loud and clear. It has become a great souvenir and something my child plays with every day. It adds an extra layer of fun and excitement to the costume. In addition to the sound chip, the costume itself is well-made and comfortable. The fabric is soft and breathable, ensuring that my child stays comfortable while wearing it. The costume is also easy to put on and take off, which is a plus for busy parents.

If you have a small toddler this is going to be fine for you. I have a 2yo that is as tall as a 3yo and it did not fit him. The crotch area barely fastens because it’s too short in the torso area. If you’re looking to order this for a regular sized 3 or 4yo it might be too small. We’re going to cut and mend the snap area to fit him but just in case you’re looking for the perfect fit, this may run small! Otherwise it’s super cute and he loves it. Notice in the photo that it’s unsnapped, he’s in 3t pants in this.

Stinking cute!!!! Comfortable for toddler and had space to put on thick fleece jacket underneath without it being too tight. It has a removable speaker and a pocket on one of the fins. Kinda hard to find the button to play the music but overall good. Best costume that matches Bebefinn’s. The material feels like synthetic suave that might melt if heat was used. So I didn’t bother steaming the wrinkles off. It still looked great!

It’s perfect for you baby shark loving kid! Easy to put on, sings baby shark and kept my toddler very entertained. Fit my 2 year old. Comfortable and cute.

I bought the toddler size for my almost 21 month old daughter. This thing is HUGE on her! She’s a little on the petite side, but this costume swallows her. My 3 year old (who’s a little on the larger side) put it on and it fits her perfectly. It’s a cute costume and seems made well. There’s a round sound box in one of the fins that plays part of the Baby Shark song. It’s not the best quality sounding player but it’s good enough and the kids enjoy it. If it wasn’t so close to Halloween and I wasn’t such a procrastinator, I would definitely return it and order the smaller size. 🤷🏻‍♀️

PThe size is perfect for my 21 month old, the look is so cute, as long as you layer, your kiddo with stay warmth. As long as you have the layers it should be comfortable as well. The zipper is good quality, and easy to use. Plus they have buttons for easy diaper changes.

The garment is completely see-through, not clothing quality.. It would need to be worn over clothes... Very disappointing i am returning it.

This product is amazing! However the song of baby shark is really crackly but can still hear the song. The size was a bit small so would recommend the next size up.
