SYLSTAR COB Rechargeable Work Light, 100W Recharegable Portable LED Flood Light 7000 Lumens, 10800mAh Battery, Waterproof Cordless Workshop Job Site Construction Lighting for Camping, Fishing

I’ve tested quite a few rechargeable work lights over the years, and this SYLSTAR COB 100W floodlight genuinely impressed me from the moment I unboxed it. It strikes a great balance between brightness, battery performance, and build quality — all at a very fair price point. 💡 Brightness & Performance: The 7000-lumen output is no exaggeration. It lights up an entire workshop, garden, or campsite with ease. The COB LEDs provide a wide, even beam rather than a harsh spotlight, making it perfect for detailed work or large-area coverage. I’ve used it outdoors for late-evening repairs and it genuinely turns night into day. 🔋 Battery Life & Charging: The built-in 10800 mAh battery holds up impressively well. On medium brightness, I easily get several hours of consistent light, and on the highest setting, around 3–4 hours. The rechargeable function via USB-C is a welcome feature — quick to charge and compatible with power banks if you’re off-grid. It can even double as an emergency power bank for phones, which is a thoughtful touch. 🏗️ Design & Durability: This is clearly designed for real-world use. The rugged, waterproof housing feels sturdy enough for construction sites, yet it’s light enough to carry around. The adjustable stand and swivel handle make it versatile — it sits well on uneven ground and can be angled precisely where you need light. The waterproofing has held up perfectly in light rain during testing. 🌲 Versatility: I’ve used it for everything from DIY projects in the garage to dog walks, car maintenance, and camping. It’s bright enough for professional trades, but also ideal for home and outdoor use. ✅ Overall Verdict: A fantastic all-round rechargeable floodlight — bright, tough, long-lasting, and genuinely useful. Whether you’re on a job site, camping trip, or just need reliable backup lighting, this is a product I can confidently recommend. Pros: Exceptionally bright (true 7000 lumens) Long-lasting 10800 mAh battery Waterproof and solid build Adjustable stand and carry handle Can charge devices via USB Cons: Slightly bulky for casual use — but understandable for its power output

Easy to use and charge, very bright just what I wanted to train in the winter outside!

This work light is absolutely outstanding. I have many work lights of different sizes and shapes and heights and I'm super impressed with the performance of this one. It's incredibly bright and the carry handle makes it ultra portable. The built in feet also makes it perfect to be placed in any location. The light can also be angled in both directions from left to right and up and down. It's brilliant. It is also very well built. The quality of the material used to build it feels of good quality and very strong. It feels like if someone dropped it it would just bounce around and still carry on working. The charger cable and plug included work well to charge the product in a reasonable amount of time. As a complete package I absolutely love it. It's fantastic.

I'd say this was a very good lamp. However, IP65 (Ingress Protection) standard, by definition relates to water ingress. By choosing IP65 the (highest) class this lamp is masquerading in - is wash-down capable, ie pressure washer! This lamp has no rubber seals, so would not meet this standard. The battery pack lid is quite snug, but would not resist a wash-down. On the basis that this should be a FOREVER lamp, then I coated all the battery terminals with silicone grease, and a final smear on the lid slides should help water resistance and electrical endurance. The yellow stand is pretty good with rubber feet, but the swivel function with the centre threaded knob is probably unnecessary. I'd rather have twin hold down knobs! Grip handle is good, but this yellow loop needs a couple of friction spacers/ washers to allow the handle to sit correctly. In my pack the wee spring washers were loose and one was missing. Finally, the Blue and Red flashing lamp facility (Police) is against the law in the UK, as vulnerable persons could be deceived by it.

The light provides very good illumination on all settings. Our top garden is approx 400 square metres and when I hold at waist height it illuminates the whole area - in fact on the top settings it is so bright you have to make sure you do not point at people. We purchased because we wanted something to help us when taking the dogs out at night and this enables us to check what they are up to and not trip over anything ourselves. It is easily light enough to carry around with you but I am intending to put some hooks on the fence as well. We consequently only use for 10 minutes or so at a time albeit mostly on the top setting. A week after charging there still seems plenty of charge left - the initial charge took about 7 hours and I have not yet charged again. The instructions were very minimal but putting it together was reasonably straightforward. The only issue I had was getting the screws to tighten when attaching the handle. Overall exactly what we were looking for.

DO NOT BUY!!! Was working fine but it's not even lasted a year and it won't hold a charge and only works if its always plugged in. Also its charging port no longer works at all. So overall a waste of money. Not great as it costs a bit. Do not buy!!!!Seems I am not the only one who has had this issue looking at reviews

The fact that the cells are replaceable was the main factor in purchasing this product. The light is really bright and has useful brightness settings. Not had chance to test battery life yet but it’s done a few hours, so looking good. The handle needs some work as the dimensions are to big, needs some force to bend it to fit. Some people will find it difficult. A good purchase, already made life a lot brighter.

Fantastic work lights. Very bright and last for a long time on one charge. Lightweight and sturdy. Just be careful the plugs on the feet do not detach, overall very impressed.
